Great Vitamin D supplement

Worth every penny. No flavor which is great. I have acid Reflux pretty bad and I'm not burping these up all day like I do with other supplements. This is pure vitamin D unlike other brands. I recently learned, from a nutritionist, that the brands sold at grocery stores are NOT pure vitamin D. A study was done on the brands at the grocery store and it was found that not even half of the product advertised on the bottle, is actually in the pill. So who knows what I've been taking for a year now. I have critical low vitamin D levels per my lab work and was told to take 5,000 units a day. This brand was recommended to me by a friend who is a nutritionist when my vitamin D levels had not increased hardly at all, after having repeat labs. Great Deal, but capsules dissolve immediately in your mouth, so can get stuck going down.

This is such a great deal, just be aware that the capsules begin to dissolve almost immediately after getting saliva or if held with wet hands, etc. easy dissolving is good in your stomach, but not if it gets stuck in your throat. No matter how much water we tried to swallow afterward, it was a very uncomfortable feeling. Do not take it at night, or you will not be able to lay down for a while if it gets stuck. You will have the feeling of heartburn. I had to eat something and drink soymilk to get it down a few times. Handle with very dry hands and place at the back of the throat and drink water in bigger gulps to get it down easier. You get a big bang for your buck, don't get me wrong. I did the research and this is the best product line, so I will continue to buy it for that reason. I just do not take it at night or at least not before bed, in case it does get stuck
