Vitamin B2 significantly reduces migraines
In our review and meta-analysis, we sought to understand how Vitamin B2 supplementation influences migraines. By examining nine studies with over 670 participants, we found that taking 400 mg of Vitamin B2 daily for three months significantly reduced the frequency, duration, and pain intensity of migraine attacks.

Our analysis revealed that Vitamin B2 wasn't just a minor help; it truly made a difference in managing migraine symptoms. This suggests a potential alternative to traditional pharmaceuticals, offering hope for migraine sufferers looking for effective prevention options.

Riboflavin reduces pediatric migraines
We conducted a retrospective observational study involving 42 children and adolescents, aged six to 18, to assess the effectiveness of riboflavin in managing migraines.

Participants saw significant improvements, with fewer headache days per month and reduced headache intensity and duration after starting riboflavin.

Additionally, we found a decrease in reliance on acute medications and missed school days related to migraines, suggesting riboflavin is a safe and beneficial option for young migraine sufferers.

Riboflavin shows promise for migraines
We analyzed the role of vitamin B2, or riboflavin, in preventing migraines for adults. Our findings indicate that riboflavin is recommended for migraine prevention, though pediatric use lacks evidence.

While the adverse events associated with riboflavin are minimal, we noted that other nutraceuticals show varying levels of support for migraine treatment. Most notably, magnesium is also recommended for prevention and treatment, while coenzyme Q10 has limited evidence.

However, we observed that some supplements, like feverfew, require caution due to safety uncertainties. Overall, riboflavin stands out as a viable option for adults seeking relief from migraines.

Blocks migraine attacks

Taking this supplement daily, I noticed my skin has improved, and notably, it has prevented my monthly migraine attacks linked to PMS. Normally, I suffer severe headaches that only vomiting alleviates, but after two months on this supplement, I was amazed to experience no migraines this time. I even gave a capsule to my mother when she had a headache, and after about an hour, she felt relief. Unlike painkillers, which only harm, this supplement appears to benefit the body and allow the mind some rest.

Vitamin B12 and magnesium effective
We set out to investigate whether combining vitamin B12, magnesium, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) could help reduce migraine symptoms. In a randomized, placebo-controlled trial with 60 participants, we split them into four groups to assess various interventions over two months. Our findings showed that the combination of B12, magnesium, and regular exercise had significant benefits in reducing migraine pain and inflammation. This suggests that a synergistic approach could effectively improve migraine management.

We examined the potential benefits of vitamin B6, folate, and B12 for treating migraines, particularly migraine with aura (MA). Our systematic literature search gathered 12 studies, revealing that while these vitamins didn't significantly help with acute migraines, B6 showed promise when used preventively alongside folate and B12 in adults with MA. However, folate alone didn’t perform better than a placebo. Unfortunately, data on migraine without aura (MO) in both adults and children were limited, emphasizing the need for more rigorous studies.
