Our son is diagnosed level 2 on the Autism spectrum. When he was 2-4 we really struggled. He was nonverbal, had an extremely difficult time with transitions, and became aggressive. Most of that was probably frustration with not being able to communicate his needs or understand ours. We start a probiotic at 3, which helped tummy issues. We started Broccomax just after he turned 4. Still nonverbal at the time. Within a month we noticed increased communication not only in words from him, but receptive to us. It was amazing, and has proven I think to be a huge factor in his tremendous growth over the last year. We still give it to him daily and will continue to do so. We open the capsule in his milk. It doesn't really fully dissolve but I just give it shake if he leaves his cup sitting. He is super picky - I mean super picky and had no problem even in a semi transparent cup. I feel like this product has changed our lives, given us Hope for the future, and our son can thrive now. He is now saying 3-4 word sentences!

This was recommended as a supplement for our autistic children by their psychiatrist. He saw a study where it improved behavior in a majority of children given it. For one it seems to have made a real improvement. For the other it did not seem to affect him

Improvement in son with Autism

Waited a while to write the review. I started giving this to my 16 yr old son with Autism based on the study that was released in the Fall of 2014. I didn't tell anyone what I was doing, and so many people see a change in him. His neurologist, his psychiatrist & family members. He is happier, less angry, more conversational & just overall better. One negative, I feel his OCD is a little worse but I will happily deal with that compared to the major improvements in other areas. I started slowly with just half a capsule, and built up to the full capsule once per day

Helps my son's Autism

After two weeks of taking this my son, who lives with Autism, has begun to use more purposeful and meaningful communication. I did not tell his teachers I started this supplement and they noticed a difference. I mentioned this and the relatively new study re: broccoli sprout extract/Autism to a physician at the hospital I work at & she chuckled "this is not new information. Broccoli has been considered a "hot" food in Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years. This study just proves what we already knew.

Most potent version of sulforaphane I have found

This is the most potent form of sulforaphane that I have found. For a bit, I doubted that any of them were any good, so I was taking 2 capsules a day, which was too much. Sulforaphane should be cycled up and down to stress the cells and up-regulate NRF2, which this does just fine at one capsule per day (for me anyway). Those treating Autism may need more
