Lactobacillus reuteri reduces headachesProbiotic containing Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17648 as an adjunct treatment for Helicobacter pylori infection: A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial.
Most Relevant Research
We conducted a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial to explore the benefits of Lactobacillus reuteri on Helicobacter pylori infection and related symptoms.
Our findings showed that those taking the probiotic had higher rates of H. pylori eradication and notably fewer headaches compared to the placebo group.
Specifically, none in the probiotic group reported headaches, while 15.6% in the placebo did. This suggests that Lactobacillus reuteri may not only help treat H. pylori but also reduce headache severity as an adjunct treatment.

I’ve had vaginitis twice in the last three years, but since taking this lactic acid bacteria supplement, my headaches have improved, and I’m no longer concerned about vaginitis. The capsules are small, tasteless, and easy to swallow, lasting two months. I take it every morning alongside mastic gum and plan to continue taking it.
