This calms my newborn's stomach so she can sleep. As a first-time mum, I struggled to understand my newborn's needs. Her digestive tract seemed to be a problem despite omitting dairy and gassy foods from my diet. I decided to try gripe water, which appeared to contain healthy ingredients. It’s worked superbly at calming her stomach, allowing her to sleep. After using it for a couple of weeks, I found it works about 90% of the time. Highly recommend!

Life Saver! When my boy was about a week old, he had significant acid reflux that caused choking on mucus. After delivery, I bought this on a whim, and one early morning when he struggled to breathe, I remembered it. After a few syringes, he could breathe easily, easing the panic. Now, I mix it with prune juice each morning for comfort and use it when breast milk gets too thick. This stuff has been incredibly helpful for my little one’s comfort and sleep.

Saved from reflux

Tummy saver! My 6-month-old had reflux as a baby, manageable with a few adjustments to breastfeeding. However, when we began purees, his reflux returned with a vengeance, leading him to reject everything except breastmilk, even his beloved vitamin D drops. Just when I considered medication, I tried 1mL of gripe water before dinner one night. Miraculously, we had not one instance of reflux for the rest of the day. This has saved my little one from so much pain and discomfort!

Quick relief from discomfort

AMAZING! We got this for our 3-week-old when she showed signs of stomach discomfort. She went from screaming to sleeping within seconds, which was astonishing. Now at three months, we consistently use it when her reflux acts up. She enjoys the taste and swallows it easily. We typically give her the 2.5 mL dose, and only occasionally need to administer the other half for relief.

Must Have...Satisfied Mummy. My one-month-old son suffers from colic and acid reflux, and his doctor suggested gripe water. After reading reviews, I purchased this brand and I must say it’s been effective! My baby received instant relief, and just four days later, he was sleeping through the night.
Reflux, medically known as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), occurs when stomach acid flows back into the esophagus, the tube that connects the throat to the stomach. This backflow can lead to symptoms such as heartburn, regurgitation, and difficulty swallowing. Reflux can affect people of all ages and may be triggered or worsened by factors such as diet, obesity, smoking, and certain medications. While occasional reflux is common and often manageable with lifestyle changes, chronic reflux can lead to more serious complications if not properly treated.
Managing reflux typically involves a combination of lifestyle modifications—such as avoiding trigger foods, eating smaller meals, and maintaining a healthy weight—and, in some cases, medication to reduce stomach acid production. In more severe cases, surgical options may be considered. If you suspect you have reflux or experience frequent symptoms, it’s advisable to consult a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment plan.
Children's herbs refer to a range of herbal remedies specifically formulated for the unique health needs of children. Unlike adults, children's bodies and immune systems are still developing, which means they can react differently to various substances, including herbs. These formulations are typically milder in nature and focus on supporting children's overall health—boosting immunity, aiding digestion, promoting restful sleep, and alleviating common ailments like colds and teething discomfort. Common herbs used in children's herbal remedies include chamomile for calming effects, ginger for digestive support, and elderberry for immune enhancement.
When considering the use of herbal remedies for children, it's essential for parents to consult with a healthcare professional who specializes in pediatric care or herbal medicine. This ensures that the herbs chosen are safe, appropriate for the child's age and health condition, and administered correctly. Also, the quality of herbal products can vary significantly, so looking for reputable brands that provide third-party testing and clear labeling of ingredients is important. While herbal remedies can be beneficial, they should complement, not replace, conventional medical treatment when needed.
Childrens Herbs can offer some relief for reflux, but it's important to approach this remedy with caution and under the guidance of a healthcare professional. Herbal remedies such as chamomile and ginger have traditionally been used to soothe digestive issues, including reflux. Chamomile, known for its anti-inflammatory properties, may help calm the stomach and esophagus while ginger can aid in digestion and reduce nausea. However, the efficacy of these herbs can vary from child to child, and some might experience adverse reactions.
Before introducing any herbal supplements to your child's diet, it's critical to consult with a pediatrician or a qualified herbalist who specializes in children's health. They can provide guidance on appropriate dosages, potential interactions with medications, and the suitability of these remedies for your child's specific situation. Moreover, it's essential to address underlying causes of reflux, which may require dietary adjustments, lifestyle changes, or medical intervention. Always prioritize safety and personalized care when considering herbal remedies for children.
