Pain-free living
This is my experience with diverticulitis; yours may vary. This product has kept me free from infection for the past three years. I mix two mounded spoonfuls with a glass of water daily, maintaining my health and reducing pain. It has even simplified bathroom trips, which I'm quite grateful for.

Avoids hospital stays
Keeps my husband out of the ER. I'm giving this a 5-star review because he loves this stuff. He thinks it tastes fine and is easy to drink, although I disagree on both counts. He has diverticulitis and we’ve experienced two major incidents that required hospitalisation over the last few years, which resulted in bowel resection. He needs to be proactive to keep things moving along, and this helps him avoid further hospital visits. He has a glass of this Metamucil daily, along with Fiber One bars, and thankfully, he hasn't had any flare-ups in the past year and a half. While it isn't meant for immediate relief of constipation, it promotes regularity with daily use. I try to cook wholesome foods, but this extra fibre really seems to assist.
