The most beloved magnesium! I am currently pregnant and have been prescribed 400 mg of magnesium. Previously, I took Natural Vitality, CALM, but it caused me diarrhoea even with a half dose. I also tried citrate, but that upset my stomach too. My doctor confirmed that these forms aren’t absorbed well by me. The best magnesium for absorption is glycinate/bisglycinate, which I now take as it comes from organic vegetables and seeds. This option has no side effects, and I've forgotten about leg cramps and insomnia. I take 1 capsule twice a day, and they are easy to swallow. I highly recommend this supplement!

We explored the relationship between magnesium treatment and vertigo in a remarkable case involving a 5-year-old girl with Meniere's disease (MD). This young patient had been suffering from six months of left-sided hearing loss, followed by troubling daily episodes of vertigo, persistent headaches, and vomiting. She met the established criteria for definite MD, which made her situation particularly concerning for both her and her family.

After initiating a 6-week diet and lifestyle regimen aimed at migraine management, which included magnesium, we observed promising results. The patient reported being symptom-free and showed a significant improvement in her hearing, reaching near-normal levels. This outcome has led us to believe that the vertigo and other symptoms associated with MD may actually be linked to a vestibular migraine phenomenon, suggesting that magnesium and lifestyle changes could play a key role in alleviating these symptoms in pediatric patients.

Our findings suggest that children with MD might benefit from these migraine-oriented lifestyle modifications, highlighting the need for some researchers and caregivers to consider alternative approaches for treating children's vestibular symptoms.

Vertigo: gone! I battled with vertigo for some time and couldn't find any solutions. I consulted several doctors and underwent various tests, yet no one could provide an explanation. Then I stumbled upon a blog suggesting that vertigo might indicate a magnesium deficiency. Consequently, I began taking magnesium glycinate and I haven't experienced vertigo since.
