Effective remedy
Initially, I found the smell of the oil strange and slightly reminiscent of machine oil, which made me hesitant to take it. However, after trying it correctly—pouring a drop in my mouth and mixing it with saliva until it stopped burning—I've found it very effective for a sore throat and a stuffy nose. I now rate it 5 stars!

Fast acting; what can I say – better than antibiotics. I started getting a scratchy throat and cough and took 1 capsule twice a day for a few days, and I had no more symptoms.

Irritation relief
If I have a sore throat, I find that chewing oregano oil and applying it to my throat really helps relieve the irritation. Taking it early can prevent the cold from worsening. It does have a strong, spicy taste.

Cold prevention

I discovered oregano oil a couple of years ago for warding off colds and viruses. It greatly reduced the number of times I get sick, and when I do, it’s more flu-like symptoms. I proactively use it alongside vitamin C, particularly orange juice, which has kept me healthier overall.
