Defeats Osteoporosis

I have always taken additional calcium with my meals. At the time is was either calcium carbonate or calcium citrate or both. When I was 65, I took a terrible off a ladder and pretty much destroyed my right side and have had 5 surgeries so far. A couple of years after the fall, I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis. I started doing a lot of research on and about calcium and one of the things I found out was that it is not all about just the calcium but also about vitamins D3, K1, K2, Magnesium and others. Then I did more research on the kinds of calcium that were available on the market and I was surprised when I found New Chapter Bone Strength as it had it all in one and that was a blessing as I don't like taking pills to begin with as I have to remember to take them in a certain order. I also like the fact that it is made from a source like red algae and not limestone. So, New Chapter and I started on a quest together and I am very glad to report that my osteoporosis is GONE after just two years on this regimen. It isn't over as New Chapter Bone Strength calcium and I have formed a permanent bond as this 70-year old continues on with the confidence that I will never have to take fosamax and never did even though doctors were throwing the stuff at me. Thank you, New Chapter, for coming to my rescue at a pretty desperate time after my fall. Now my wife and oldest daughter are taking it as well

“Significant increase in bone mineral density since previous study done in March 2018”

Those words were music to my ears. Back in 2018 I was diagnosed with osteoporosis and put on generic fosamax. I was a good soldier and took the medicine but after 2-3 weeks was so sick to my stomach on this medication that I stopped. I consulted with my GP and he wanted me to try Prolia. I said I wanted to see if I could get results using other methods and we agreed to a two year trial period. I did the following: First, found this supplement and took it 2x daily (recommended 3X daily but because I eat lunch in a busy office, I just knew I would not have it together to take it then.) Second, every AM started with large glass of water with lemon squeezed into it - google Dr. Pier Boutin, orthopedic surgeon. Third, started a regular and consistent exercise regime including jogging, walking with a weighted vest and doing push ups. I just got my results back from 2020 bone density report GREAT NEWS: "There has been stability or improvement in bone mineral density at the spine and hips since previous study and patient does not meet criteria for pharmacologic therapy." I am over 65 and have taken medication that has a correlation to bone density loss for almost 20 years, so to get these results without prescription bone meds is miraculous. New Chapter Bone Strength

I'm not a review person but New Chapter Bone Strength deserves the accolades. This product was recommended to me by my Naturopathic Doctor..I can't thank her enough. I've been taking it for a year. My recent Dexa Scan showed a reversal from Osteoporosis to Osteopenia. I was blown away because my regular MD led me to believe that reversal was not in the big picture...she laughed when she said it. Guess I have the last laugh!!!! I highly recommend this product and will take it faithfully. Looking to reverse the Osteopenia for the next Scan. Off to consult my Naturopathic Doctor...to thank her!!

Good product, bad packaging! Take 2 not 3!

I think this a great product if you are need of calcium for bone health. It has helped my osteoporosis. However, be aware the directions say to take 3 pills which is 770 mg of calcium. Your body can only absorb 500 mg at a time, so take 2 and it will last longer and you won't waste it. Good product, but the packaging is absolutely ridiculous, completely unnecessary and bad for the planet. I will keep buying it and hope they change the packaging

Bone Strength

I did some research, and found this supplement. I liked that the calcium came from a plant source, and that it also includes magnesium, strontium, vitamin D, and vitamin K which all work together to strength bones. When taking each of these separately, you can't be sure you are taking the correct proportions of each so they work together and compliment each other. For example, taking strontium alone can make the bones look stronger on the outside when getting a bone density test, but can leave the bones hollow. This can still leave the bones brittle. In the correct amounts strontium works with the other ingredients in this supplement. At any rate, 6 years ago, my bone density test showed a rating of -2.5 (osteoporosis) in my hips and back, and I was experiencing knee, lower back and hips aches and pains almost constantly. Within 6 months of starting this supplement, my knee pains stopped completely. I could go down stairs without the worry of shooting pains in my knees. Since then, I have had bone density tests done every 2 years, as suggested, for the last 6 years. In that time, most areas have improved from -2.5 to -1.4. I know some of the reviews make it sound like taking this supplement will show an almost overnight improvement, but that isn't very realistic. Our bones don't lose density overnight, and they certainly won't rebuild overnight - it takes time. For me, it is encouraging to know that at my age of 74, my bone density has improved quite a bit over the last 6 years and has not deteriorated. This is good enough for me

My doctor was amazed at a the change!

I was diagnosed at 59.5 yrs old with Osteopenia, precursor to osteoporosis, through a bone density scan. I come from a long line of women who were diagnosed with osteoporosis in their 50s so I was keenly aware of the issues and wanted to do all I could to prevent the disease. I had just started going to the gym and was on my way to significant weight loss and healthier eating. My doctor told me to incorporate calcium into my diet as well as take a supplement, although his patients had mixed results. He also told me to be sure to continue my physical activity of lifting weights and walking. I researched different supplements and decided to go with this product. He did a repeat bone scan 2 years later and was very pleased with the my scan. It had improved from the prior scan. He asked me what I was doing and agreed with everything and said”…don't change a thing! You're on the right track!” I've never had any issues taking these slim tablets and have had no side affects or any issues. I highly recommend this product! You won't be sorry

Neck bones back to normal

I must say this has changed my life. I used to be a big workout addict. I never stretched before or after my workout which in return caused my trap muscles to tighten which caused my shoulder and neck bones to pull together which in return made me constantly crack my neck for relief. After many years of cracking my neck and pulling the neck away from my shoulder for relief my neck bones started to crack and grind just from me simply moving my head left right back and forth. My neck literally felt like it was falling apart and as if my head will just fall off I didnt know what the problem was. Nor did the chiropractor now that I think about it. I didnt know I was lacking calcium until I bought this. I finished a bottle and about midway through the bottle I noticed a difference and after I finished the bottle my neck no more cracks or grinds as I move it. Nor can I crack it with the force of my hands as I used to. I now ordered 2 180 pill bottles lol

This stuff works!

Three years ago, I was borderline osteoporosis. I was awaiting hip replacement surgery for excruciating pain. I had lost 3.5" of height. My doctor agreed that the osteoporosis drugs were nasty. She said she wouldn't use them - yet but to be prepared for the conversation when I had my next dexa scan. I was in no position to do much strength training due to my hip. I had surgery in 2018. But exercise was still painful. I did copious research on bone building supplements. I settled on New Chapter Bone Strength, which I have been taking religiously ever since. I had my dexa scan (bone density) Monday, December, 2020. I was hopefully relieved that I hadn't lost any height. The tech said the arthritis in my back was terrible but she couldn't say much else. I received my results today: my bone density has IMPEOVED. My doctor was over the moon about the results. Since I haven't been able to exercise much until very recently, I can only credit this product for these excellent results. I'm no doctor and don't pretend to be, but I can only attest to my own experience. I believe this is an excellent supplement and recommend it highly

Counting on these to work for me!

I have researched ingredients for bone building and these fit the bill. My regular Dr. called me after my last scan to tell me my bones were thinning and I need to take 1500 mg of calcium per day.! Well, my cardiologist had told me not to take calcium bc it can clog one's arteries! And the prescription drugs that were given for osteoporosis are now having serious side effects! WOW!!! So, I am giving these a try and hope they work... I have had no problems with them and I have been taking them for a month. They are a tablet so I hope they are dissolving and absorbing

The supplement is great- but what's up with the packaging?

I have taken this supplement for years and it has given me strong bones, even at my age of 68. However, and this is a big one, it was packaged in a gigantic waste of colored cardboard- a "presentation", I presume. It makes me wonder about the efficacy of the actual product. Stop wasting the planet's resources, and keep your eye on the quality of your product, please!!
