I had been taking omega-3 from fish oil for a long time, but my husband developed chronic hives of unknown cause. I switched to flaxseed oil to limit the ingredients and also tried reducing alcohol intake and taking biotin. It seems to have calmed down his hives, and I feel my dry skin has improved. I'm considering returning to fish oil to see if his condition worsens.

I've just started taking it. I get hives when I drink it, likely because the oil doesn’t agree with me. I should have started with just one a day. I plan to gradually increase the amount while monitoring how it affects me.
