We explored the effects of G2 lysine dendrimer on acne and how it can help restore balance to our skin microbiome. Acne is a persistent skin condition that brings about discomfort and concerns for many. Traditional treatments can often lose their effectiveness over time or lead to unwanted side effects. So, our goal was to see if this new approach could offer a gentler solution.
Our focus was on how G2 dendrimer specifically targets the troublesome bacteria associated with acne while preserving the healthy bacteria we rely on for healthy skin. Through our studies, we found that G2 dendrimer notably reduced inflammatory markers linked to acne, such as IL-8. What’s more, it didn’t harm the beneficial bacteria on the skin, which is essential for maintaining overall skin health.
We also conducted comparisons with standard over-the-counter treatments. The G2 dendrimer showed promising results in both limiting acne outbreaks and supporting the survival of good bacteria. Through metagenomic analysis, we confirmed that using G2 in a cosmetic product can effectively help rebalance the acne-prone microbiota without disrupting the friendly bacteria.
Overall, these findings highlight the potential of G2 lysine dendrimer as a non-aggressive option for acne prevention while respecting our skin's natural microbiome.

G2 dendrimer influences acne bacteria
Polylysine dendrigraft is able to differentially impact Cutibacterium acnes strains preventing acneic skin.
Our exploration centered on how a specific compound derived from l-lysine, known as G2 dendrimer, influences Cutibacterium acnes, the bacteria linked to acne vulgaris. We found that this compound can alter the behavior of acneic strains of C. acnes by changing their membrane fluidity and reducing biofilm formation. Interestingly, it does not have the same effects on non-acneic strains, indicating a targeted action.
In our investigations using skin samples, we observed that G2 dendrimer significantly lowers indicators of inflammation, such as IL1α and TLR-2, and promotes better skin cell turnover after colonization by acneic strains. To solidify our findings, we performed a 28-day treatment with a G2 cream and measured changes in bacteria diversity through metagenomic analysis.
The results showed not only an increase in the diversity of C. acnes strains but also a shift regarding the balance between different phylotypes associated with acne. Overall, our findings highlight the potential for using gentle, soft compounds like the G2 dendrimer as a new strategy to manage and possibly prevent acne outbreaks by modifying the bacterial population on the skin.

Acne significantly improved
Excellent! It helps with acne and restores hormonal levels. I struggled with acne for over a year and tried numerous remedies, but nothing worked. After reading advice on a forum about drinking lysine, I decided to give it a go, despite my low expectations. After 2 weeks, nearly all my acne vanished, leaving my skin much clearer. Additionally, my cycle returned to normal. Overall, I am very pleased and will order again.

Works for acne
I used this previously for my skin and acne; I think it works.
Acne is a common skin condition that affects people of all ages, though it's especially prevalent among teenagers and young adults. It occurs when hair follicles become clogged with oil and dead skin cells, leading to the formation of pimples, blackheads, and cysts. The main factors contributing to acne include excess oil production, hormonal changes, and the presence of bacteria on the skin. Acne can manifest in various forms, from mild cases with just a few breakouts to more severe forms that can cause significant inflammation and scarring.
Treatment for acne varies depending on its severity and can range from over-the-counter topical treatments like benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid to prescription medications including retinoids and antibiotics. Lifestyle adjustments, such as maintaining a balanced diet and proper skin hygiene, may also contribute to managing and reducing breakouts. Despite being a common skin issue, the psychological impact of acne should not be underestimated, as it can affect self-esteem and overall quality of life.
L-Lysine is an essential amino acid that plays a crucial role in many bodily functions. Unlike some amino acids that can be synthesized by the body, L-Lysine must be obtained through diet or supplementation. It is particularly important for protein synthesis, hormone production, and the absorption of calcium. Good dietary sources of L-Lysine include meat, fish, dairy products, eggs, and certain plant sources such as beans and legumes. Athletes and individuals looking to support muscle recovery and growth often consider L-Lysine supplements.
In addition to its role in enhancing muscle recovery, L-Lysine is also often touted for its potential benefits in supporting immune function and combating cold sores caused by the herpes simplex virus. Some studies suggest that L-Lysine may help reduce the frequency and severity of these outbreaks. However, it’s always advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement to determine the appropriate dosage and ensure it aligns with your health needs.
L-lysine, an essential amino acid often found in supplements and dietary sources, has garnered interest for its potential benefits in managing various health conditions, including acne. While some anecdotal evidence suggests that L-lysine may help reduce breakouts by promoting collagen production and supporting immune function, scientific research on this topic remains limited. The amino acid's role in preventing the herpes simplex virus, which is linked to certain types of acne, further complicates its association with skin health, making it important to approach claims of its efficacy with caution.
If you're considering adding L-lysine to your regimen for acne, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional first. They can help determine if it’s a suitable option for you, taking into account your unique skin type and health history. Remember that managing acne often requires a comprehensive approach that may include regular skincare, dietary adjustments, and potential medical treatments, so relying solely on L-lysine might not yield the desired results.
Based on user reviews, the timeline for seeing results from this supplement for acne varies. Many users report significant improvements within a month of consistent use. For instance, one user noted that their skin became perfectly smooth and free from acne after a month of drinking the supplement (Read Review). Another user mentioned experiencing nearly all their acne vanishing in just two weeks of use, which left them quite pleased with their clearer skin (Read Review).
While most users seem to agree on a timeframe of either two weeks to a month for noticeable results, it is also essential to consider individual variability, as some may find changes sooner or later. One user reported only minor changes after ten days and suggested that they might need to adjust their dosage for better results (Read Review). Therefore, it's advisable to maintain a consistent intake while closely monitoring your skin's responses for the best outcomes.
The scientific research supports the use of G2 lysine dendrimer as a promising supplement for acne treatment. In a study investigating its effects, researchers found that G2 dendrimer effectively targets the acne-causing bacteria Cutibacterium acnes without negatively impacting beneficial skin bacteria. It significantly reduced inflammatory markers associated with acne, such as IL-8, showing that it can alleviate outbreaks while maintaining the skin's microbiome balance [1]. Additionally, another investigation highlighted that this compound alters the behavior of acne-causing strains, lowers inflammation indicators like IL1α, and promotes improved skin cell turnover [2].
These findings suggest that G2 lysine dendrimer can be a gentler alternative to traditional acne treatments that may lead to side effects over time. Its ability to modify bacterial populations on the skin while being non-aggressive points to its potential as a preventative measure for those struggling with acne [2]. Given the evidence from these studies, G2 lysine dendrimer could serve as a valuable component in acne management strategies, making it worth considering for acne-prone individuals seeking effective solutions.
Based on user reviews, it seems that many individuals report a notable improvement in their skin symptoms, particularly acne. For instance, one user shared that after a month of consistent use, their facial skin became perfectly smooth, free from redness and acne (Read Review). Another review highlighted a rapid improvement within just two weeks, where nearly all acne vanished, and hormonal balance was also restored, leading to clearer skin overall (Read Review).
Other users mentioned varying experiences; one noted a stabilization in their skin condition with less frequent acne breakouts, indicating a positive but more gradual response (Read Review). It's also important to note that individual results can vary significantly, as evidenced by a user who reported minimal changes in their skin after ten days of use, suggesting they might need to adjust their dosage for better effects (Read Review). Overall, while many find the supplement beneficial for skin clarity and acne management, the timeframe and effectiveness can differ from person to person.
Users have reported a range of experiences when combining this supplement with other products for acne management. One user specifically mentioned taking the supplement alongside proline, noting that their skin condition stabilized, resulting in less frequent acne occurrences (Read Review). This suggests that some users find complementary combinations helpful for improving overall skin health and diminishing breakouts.
Additionally, other reviews indicate satisfaction with the supplement alone for acne, with one user achieving clearer skin after just two weeks. They reported that the supplement not only improved their acne but also helped restore hormonal balance, which is often a critical factor in acne management (Read Review). However, it's noteworthy that some users might not see immediate results and may need to adjust their dosage or routine to fit their individual needs better (Read Review). Overall, the combination with other supplements may enhance results for some, while others might find success using it independently.
Users report varying experiences with the dosage of L Lysine for treating acne, frequently emphasizing the importance of taking it on an empty stomach for optimal results. One user mentioned, “Works brilliantly for acne! It must be taken on an empty stomach” Read Review. Another noted that after just two weeks of taking L Lysine, “nearly all my acne vanished,” suggesting that a noticeable improvement can occur relatively quickly when taken consistently Read Review.
While many users reported positive outcomes, some expressed uncertainty regarding the right dosage. For instance, one individual who took a lower dose noted, “I may need a higher dose, as I take 1 tablet in the morning before meals for 30-40 minutes,” indicating that their experience with acne didn't improve significantly Read Review. Overall, user feedback suggests that while some found success with standard doses, adjustments may be necessary for others to achieve optimal results.

Minimal impact observed
It is unclear yet. I was searching for something for my joints, which constantly hurt. Some reviews mention an increase in energy. I agree it has become somewhat easier to do household chores and my overall health has improved. However, the effect is barely noticeable. I may need a higher dose, as I take 1 tablet in the morning before meals for 30-40 minutes. Regarding the cleanliness of my face, I haven’t noticed much improvement; I don’t suffer from herpes, but the acne on my temples didn’t disappear during PMS. Perhaps I need to take it more frequently. I’ve been drinking it for 10 days and have had no side effects.
