For years, I suffered from herpes. One of my first purchases on this site was lysine, and it works for me immediately when I feel an outbreak coming. I take a loading dose of 2 tablets, 3-4 times a day, and then I reduce the frequency. With lysine, herpes never bloats, and I am quite pleased with the results.
