It worked all over! It's been three weeks since I started taking it, hoping it would help with stiff shoulders, tendonitis, skin quality, hay fever, and hair quality. Stiff shoulders are almost bother-free now, and while my tendonitis isn't cured, the pain is less than before. My skin texture has improved, and the lichen pilaris on my arms and buttocks is much smoother. In combination with mild medication, my hay fever symptoms are greatly reduced. My hair feels moist and heavy after shampooing. I plan to continue as everything has slowly improved since starting.

I've been taking MSM since 2000 and notice a substantial difference when I stop. It keeps my skin softer and strengthens my nails and hair. Most importantly, it has been vital for strengthening my tendons and ligaments after severe sprains and hip replacement surgery. ORTHO doctors remark on my quick recovery compared to others. I usually take 1,000 mg daily; however, during sports injuries or following surgery, I increase the dosage to 4,000 mg. Research indicates that the tolerable limit is significantly higher.

I got rid of the pain in my arm. The pain (tendon) was so severe that I struggled to dress myself. After about two months of continuous use, the pain completely disappeared. I also continue to take Jellice, so the improvement might be from a synergistic effect. I intend to keep using it.

Excellent! I read it is beneficial for joints and tendons, so I got it for my mother, who complains about her hips. Since she has been taking it regularly, she hasn't experienced pain, and that continues to be the case.

Joint pain management

This is essential for any joint pain. My wife suffered from arthritis and tendonitis. I give her 3g during flare-ups and a maintenance dose of 2g, along with other supplements. Since starting this, she hasn’t faced any arthritis issues. If she skips it for 2-3 weeks, the pain returns. It's an excellent anti-inflammatory.
Tendonitis is an inflammation or irritation of a tendon, the thick fibrous cords that attach muscle to bone. This condition often results from repetitive motion, overuse, or injury, leading to pain, swelling, and discomfort in the affected area. Though it can occur in any tendon in the body, common locations include the shoulders (rotator cuff tendonitis), elbows (tennis elbow), knees (jumper's knee), and Achilles tendon. Activities that require repetitive use of these tendons—such as sports, certain occupations, or hobbies—can contribute to the development of tendonitis.
While tendonitis can affect anyone, it’s particularly prevalent among athletes and individuals who engage in repetitive tasks. Treatment typically includes rest, ice, anti-inflammatory medications, and physical therapy to strengthen and stretch the tendon. In some cases, more advanced treatments like corticosteroid injections or surgery may be necessary if conservative measures do not alleviate symptoms. To prevent tendonitis, it’s crucial to warm up properly before physical activities, gradually increase exercise intensity, and allow adequate recovery time between workouts.
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a naturally occurring sulfur compound that is often used as a dietary supplement. It is found in various fruits, vegetables, grains, and animal products, but its concentration in these foods is relatively low. MSM gained popularity for its potential health benefits, particularly in the realms of joint health, anti-inflammatory effects, and skin care. Many users report improvements in symptoms related to osteoarthritis and joint pain when using MSM supplements.
The mechanism behind MSM's effects is believed to be related to its ability to support the body's production of collagen, which is essential for maintaining healthy cartilage and connective tissues. Additionally, MSM is thought to have antioxidant properties that might help combat oxidative stress, further promoting joint and overall health. However, while many anecdotal reports support these claims, scientific research on the efficacy of MSM is still ongoing. As with any supplement, it's crucial to consult with a healthcare professional before incorporating MSM into your regimen, especially if you have underlying health conditions or are taking other medications.
MSM, or methylsulfonylmethane, is a sulfur compound often touted for its potential benefits in reducing inflammation and pain associated with various musculoskeletal conditions, including tendonitis. Some studies suggest that MSM may have anti-inflammatory properties that could aid in the recovery process by helping to reduce swelling and discomfort in affected tendons. However, the evidence is not overwhelmingly strong, and research specifically targeting MSM's effectiveness on tendonitis is limited.
For those considering MSM as a supplement for tendonitis relief, it’s crucial to consult with a healthcare provider. They can offer personalized advice based on your specific condition and overall health. Combining MSM with other treatment modalities, such as physical therapy or anti-inflammatory medications, may provide more significant relief. As always, adherence to proven treatment strategies and being mindful of your body's response when introducing new supplements is essential.

A necessary supplement. The mineral from Now Foods works well for my stressed joints, ligaments, and tendons. When using MSM, I felt relief and added strength. The effect is evident; however, taking more than recommended can upset your stomach. Additionally, my skin became radiant, and dermatitis on my face vanished.
