This suggests that nattokinase could be a beneficial adjunctive therapy for individuals struggling with high blood pressure.
However, it's important to highlight that while nattokinase may support blood pressure management, its effects on cholesterol levels were less encouraging. The study showed that lower doses of nattokinase could negatively impact total cholesterol and have no significant influence on triglyceride levels. Thus, while nattokinase appears promising for hypertension, the relationship between dosage and lipid levels warrants further investigation.
Overall, our research contributes to the understanding of nattokinase's role in hypertension treatment, highlighting its potential while pointing to areas that need more clarity regarding dosage and lipid interactions.

Molecular docking studies supported our findings, showing strong binding affinity of nattokinase to the ACE, which aligns with its potential as an anti-hypertensive agent. With a specific activity of 2418.85 U/mg, this enzyme could indeed play a significant role in hypertension management through dietary supplementation or therapeutic use.
