I started giving these yeast flakes to my older cat, who was looking unwell. He adores the taste and has since gained weight and developed a shiny coat. Perhaps I should try them too!

Pain relief observed

The key difference between brewer's yeast and nutritional yeast is that the former contains chromium but lacks vitamin B-12. I used it to replace injections for back inflammation. The taste took some getting used to, but after finishing the jar, I noticed reduced pain and improved mood and stamina. I highly recommend it for those dealing with similar issues.

Deficiency alleviated

I’ve been on a paleo diet for 1.5 years and was initially unsure about these yeast flakes. I faced a massive deficiency of vitamin B1, which caused irritability and hair loss. Within days of using the yeast, these symptoms vanished. Now, I feel energised and in a good mood all day without needing coffee!

I purchased the yeast as my hair was falling out. It’s rich in biotin, which is beneficial for hair health. After using it for an extended period, I noticed significantly less hair loss and would highly recommend it for those worried about their hair.

Potential risks mentioned

The flakes are tasty but should be consumed in moderation to avoid adverse effects. Excessive intake can lead to symptoms resembling a yeast infection, possibly due to undeactivated components. It’s best to treat it as a seasoning rather than a superfood.
