We examined whether probiotics and digestive enzymes could ease gastrointestinal (GI) discomfort after gastric bypass surgery. In a double-blind, randomized trial with 60 patients, we found that both treatments notably improved symptoms like heartburn, gas, and bloating within two weeks. The quality of life, measured by the modified Gastrointestinal Quality of Life Index (mGIQLI), showed positive changes overall. Thus, it seems that using probiotics or digestive enzymes can provide relief after surgery, leading to a better initial recovery experience.

I want to share my sister's experience with pancreatin. She suffers from chronic pancreatitis and has been in discomfort. Although this resembles the pharmacy product Creon, she found pancreatin much more effective, noting a significant improvement with less bloating and a reduction in heartburn. Pancreatin improves nutritional status

We evaluated pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT) that uses microencapsulated pancreatin in enhancing nutritional status among patients with chronic pancreatitis (CP) and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI).

This study included 58 participants, split into two groups based on their nutritional status. Over 8-12 months, both groups received the therapy while we assessed changes in body weight, BMI, and laboratory indicators of nutrition before and after treatment.

Impressively, we found that PERT effectively improved nutritional status in patients suffering from CP.

I want to leave a review about pancreatin. This is from my sister, who has chronic pancreatitis and has suffered from considerable pain and discomfort lately. She believes pancreatin is much more effective than Creon; she felt much better, experiencing no bloating or heaviness after meals. Although heartburn had previously tormented her, if you lack pancreatic enzymes, you might consider replacing Creon with pancreatin after consulting your doctor. Good health to all!

We investigated how pancreatin, derived from pigs, impacts diarrhea in a Maltese dog suffering from exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. The dog had chronic diarrhea, excessive hunger, weight loss, and foul-smelling feces. After beginning treatment with porcine pancreatin powder, we saw a complete resolution of the dog's clinical signs. This case highlights the potential effectiveness of oral pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy in managing similar gastrointestinal issues in dogs.

Diarrhea gone. After ten years of constant diarrhea and trying various diets and pills, I found grass-fed pancreas pills. The diarrhea vanished, remarkably. However, they were too pricey, so I looked for alternatives and found this product. I now take more than the recommended dose, and it works effectively.

Pancreatin may prevent weight loss

We conducted a randomized double-blind trial to see if pancreatin could help prevent weight loss in patients with unresectable cancer of the pancreatic head region.

Over eight weeks, 21 patients received either pancreatin or a placebo, alongside dietary counseling.

Those on pancreatin gained weight, while placebo patients lost weight. The results showed a significant difference, suggesting that pancreatin may effectively counteract weight loss during this critical period.

As a pancreatic cancer survivor who underwent the Whipple Procedure and has Crohn's disease, my digestive system has been poor. This product has helped immensely and is far more affordable than the prescription alternatives. This product is suitable for my four-year-old. She has been under the care of a gastroenterologist for liver and pancreas issues. I ordered pancreatin from Nau as she did not enjoy the previous prescription. I've been giving her a full capsule daily, and after using it alongside an artichoke supplement, her ultrasound showed improvements. Her stool has normalised, she's more energetic, and the red spots on her skin have disappeared. I also find it effective for myself.

Spasmocanulase aids IBS symptom relief

We investigated how spasmocanulase could help those struggling with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), particularly focusing on symptoms like bloating. In a clinic in Riyadh, 21 patients who had not found relief with other medications were given spasmocanulase three times a day for six months.

The results showed over half of the participants experienced improvements in bloating and abdominal pain. In fact, symptom relief was noted in 43-75% of patients, marking a significant change from their prior treatments.

While the sample size was small, this suggests spasmocanulase may offer real benefits for IBS symptoms.

I have hereditary pancreatitis due to a spink 1 gene flaw. After struggling for 20 years, I found these tablets. My stools were difficult for years, but after three days of taking one during each meal, they changed to brown like chocolate. This was a first for me, and I had to check if that was normal. Unlike Creon, which caused horrible side effects, these pills are wonderful. They’ve also reduced bloating considerably. Highly recommend.
