My fasting blood sugar levels are normal; however, my two-hour post-meal levels are high. To counter this, I take 1 to 2 capsules 20 to 30 minutes before meals. Despite being on prescribed diabetes medication, my HbA1c remains within the normal or slightly elevated range.

Initial constipation relief

Initially, I experienced a good effect with my constipation resolved, but pain developed in the appendix area towards the end of the can. Stopping the supplement relieved the pain. Psyllium is recognised as dietary fibre that aids symptoms of constipation and mild diarrhoea and can lower blood cholesterol and glucose levels for those with type 2 diabetes. It helps regulate bowel movements while providing few side effects, though caution is needed with water intake.
