As good as Benadryl if you take the right amount often enough!!!
I suspect I have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome - I have chronic hives, migraines, runny nose, Anxiety/jitters, brain fog, etc. I received this on 1/14/20. I took 2 capsules twice daily. Didn't seem to have much affect, or if it did, seemed to wear off by midday. On 1/17/20 in midday, the wearing off was very apparent, as I was having caffeine buzz like jitters. I took 25mg Benadryl and it was resolved. The next day I experienced the same wearing off jitters at the same time of day. I decided to try an extra dose of quercetin (2 caps) instead of Benadryl. The quercetin had the same effect as the Benadryl without the drowsiness!! At least for a good 2 hours (as opposed to a good 4 hours with Benadryl) I did read on another quercetin manufacturer's site that this may require a "loading dose," meaning you have to take a lot of it at first, for up to 10 days. I have increased my dosage to 3 times/day. I may even do 4 times/day if it seems like I need it. But so far I consider this stuff gold and I will keep taking it, mainly because I have noticed a great improvement in the "Anxiety" symptoms. I say that with quotes because it is clear this is purely physical for me, not psychological. I have very little stress in my life
