Cord blood metabolites and ADHD
We examined how levels of 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) in cord blood relate to the risk of developing ADHD and other developmental disorders. This study followed nearly 1,000 children from birth, looking for connections between cord plasma metabolites and diagnoses later on.

Interestingly, while higher levels of certain metabolites like 5-methoxytryptophol were linked to a reduced risk of ADHD, higher levels of 5-HTP actually correlated with an increased risk. It seems that not all tryptophan-related metabolites act the same way when it comes to ADHD.

I discovered 5-HTP from my endocrinologist for overcoming seasonal blues and bought it here due to better pricing. I noticed vivid dreams, deeper sleep, and reduced emotionality at work. My mother uses it as well and has experienced positive changes in sleep and irritability. We've recently started giving it to my ADHD-affected 12-year-old, and the results are striking—concentration improved significantly within just two days, although appetite decreased.

Aids ADHD treatment
Excellent! I take a lot of 5-HTP, a precursor of serotonin, which elevates my mood and aids in weight loss. It significantly alleviates my ADHD symptoms. I recommend trying it instead of serious pharmaceuticals and divide the doses for children.

Behaviour regulation
Great product; it helped me regulate some behaviours and my overall mood, alleviating some of my ADHD issues. However, it may induce nausea when taken on an empty stomach.

Sleep enhancement
I started using this product every night before bed, and I've noticed a significant improvement in my sleep. I take L-tyrosine during the day, and I believe these products together help with my ADHD symptoms.

Reduced anxiety levels
I have ADHD and have been taking 5-HTP for several years. Whenever I ran out, I noticed a significant decline in my overall well-being; my sleep was disturbed, and I felt anxious and unfocused. Resuming the supplement has markedly improved my sleep and reduced anxiety, making me feel much calmer and enhancing my concentration. While I also took L-theanine alongside, I can confidently recommend this supplement for those experiencing similar ADHD symptoms.

Enhanced quality
Amazing! I've been taking these with saffron for my ADHD at night. The dosage is great, and they help my husband too; he enjoys the quality.

Limited impact observed
This is for my daughter with ADHD. It seems to help her sleep somewhat, but I haven't noticed much change in her overall mood. She takes one pill before bed along with Zoloft in the morning. We'll continue to monitor her progress for more noticeable results.

Concentration aid
POWERFUL! Being on the spectrum of ADD/ADHD as an adult, I take these when I struggle to concentrate. Taking them daily doesn’t always help; they might make me hyper. I think a lower dose would help my symptoms more regularly. For now, I find taking these occasionally is a good reboot!
