5-HTP ineffective for hot flashes
We aimed to find out how effective 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) is for reducing hot flashes in menopausal women.

In a double-blind study involving 24 postmenopausal participants, we divided the group to receive either 5-HTP or a placebo.

Unfortunately, our results showed no significant difference in hot flash frequency between the two groups after treatment.

Thus, it appears that 5-HTP at the tested dose does not effectively alleviate hot flashes, making further research necessary.

Alleviates menopause symptoms
Excellent! This natural antidepressant is indicated for insomnia, depressive states caused by a lack of serotonin, and various addictions, including food. It stimulates the synthesis of serotonin and melatonin, reducing anxiety and irritability, and helps with better adaptation to stress. It also improves mood, aids in adjusting to new time zones, controls appetite, and reduces cravings for sugar and addictive substances. Furthermore, it alleviates hot flashes and other menopause symptoms.

The gel caps are easy to swallow and work well alongside other supplements. I had to create my own menopause blend due to supply issues with my previous product, but I found everything needed at a great price on iherb.com!
