Resolvin D1's role in GERD treatment
Resolvin D1 attenuates acid-induced DNA damage in esophageal epithelial cells and rat models of acid reflux.
Moderate relevance to GERD
We investigated the role of resolvin D1 (RvD1) in protecting esophageal epithelial cells from damage caused by acid reflux. Through exposure tests, we found that RvD1 could effectively block oxidative stress and DNA damage linked to acid exposure.

Notably, RvD1 not only reduced harmful reactive oxygen species but also enhanced the cell's ability to repair DNA damage, signaling a promising potential for treatment in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease. However, we need more studies to confirm its benefits in clinical settings.

I've experienced improved mental clarity, a significant reduction in my LDL (bad cholesterol), and my memory has greatly improved. I am extremely satisfied! Thank you, IHERB.
