I want to share an unexpected benefit of this oil! After taking it for about ten days, I noticed that my vocal cords felt stronger and my voice sounded much better. Even after singing for hours, my throat remains moist—something I did not expect! I take evening primrose oil for my overall health, including my endometriosis, and although it’s early days, I found my menstrual cramps have been significantly less painful. I intend to keep using it as it has been quite beneficial.

The capsules are quite large, and while I can swallow them, they can feel uncomfortable in the throat, so I prefer to bite them open. Since stopping contraceptives, I faced irregular menstruation, but surprisingly my period arrived on time. The first day was very painful; however, I experienced no pain on subsequent days, which is unusual for me. This is the first time I've felt well during my menstruation, so I give the credit to the oil.

Some symptom relief
I heard this was effective for women's troubles, but I didn't feel it initially. After a long break, I took it again during my regular periods, where I often experience heavy stomach pain for the first few hours. On the second day, I usually have neck and shoulder tension, accompanied by headaches that require pain relievers. After taking one bottle, my symptoms felt slightly improved, but it's difficult to attribute this solely to the oil, given my history of trying different remedies. Interestingly, I haven't experienced symptoms recently despite not taking it, so I don’t plan to continue. Individual responses to supplements vary, so for unique women's issues, it might be worth a try.

Reduced inflammation
I appreciate the quality of NOW brand supplements. I use Super Evening Primrose oil for my hot flashes and to enhance the beneficial omega oils that support my heart and brain. They lack a strong flavour, which is a relief compared to the fishy taste of other omega supplements. I’ve found that these capsules assist in reducing inflammation—if I skip them for a while, I notice I become inflamed more quickly. The pills are somewhat large but slide down smoothly without any sticking.
