γ-Linolenic acid affects PG2 production from arachidonic acid and exerts anti-inflammatory effects. Allergies and inflammation are linked to lipid balance, and γ-linolenic acid has shown effectiveness for atopy. I've also found that avoiding eggs, which are high in arachidonic acid, while consuming fish can reduce inflammation.

Excellent product quality

After using it for two weeks, I experienced excellent moisturisation. The quality is superb; I've used it for my children aged five and above, and it’s well-packaged. This oil greatly moisturises and nourishes, and the aromatic oils within do not trigger allergies. I appreciated the good moisturisation and that there’s no strong smell.

Good for inflammation
I ordered NOW Foods super primrose evening primrose capsules, which I've previously used. The quality is good, and it hasn't caused allergies. It effectively relieves inflammation, and after consulting with my doctor, I found it suitable for my age.

Suitable for allergies

This is a great option for anyone with seafood or fish allergies who still wants the benefits of omega fatty acids. Personally, I've found it to be very helpful for my arthritis.

Not suitable for me
Since evening primrose oil can oxidise easily, I opted for the supplement to combat allergies, particularly for rough skin. Unfortunately, it wasn't suitable for me and did not yield the desired results.
