Rosacea treatment with vitamin C
[Angioprotectors in the treatment of rosacea].
Effect of vitamin C unclear
We explored the effectiveness of Rutin Forte, a treatment that includes long-acting vitamin C along with zinc and selenium, in managing rosacea, particularly in its erythematous stage. Our study included 30 patients—20 women and 10 men, aged 25 to 50—who were divided into two groups. One group received standard treatments like antibiotics and topical therapies, while the other group received the same treatments along with Rutin Forte for 2 to 3 months.

Over a 12-month observation period, we observed significant improvements in the group that received Rutin Forte. This group showed a notable reduction in erythema, the redness associated with rosacea, and intriguingly, there were no relapses of the condition. Conversely, the standard treatment group experienced recurrences of rosacea by the third month of follow-up, and their reduction in erythema was less pronounced.

This indicates that Rutin Forte, likely due to the vitamin C it contains, might play a beneficial role in treating and preventing rosacea symptoms, particularly in stubborn cases. Overall, our findings suggest that incorporating vitamin C into rosacea treatment can be quite effective.

Moderately relevant treatment insights
We examined a unique case of severe rosacea that did not respond to traditional treatments. The study involved a 36-year-old man who experienced persistent facial and neck dermatitis despite various therapies. As part of his treatment, he received vitamin C in the form of 500 mg of ascorbic acid daily, alongside other medications aimed at addressing his condition.

Although this case included vitamin C, it’s essential to recognize that it was not the sole treatment. The patient also underwent immunosuppressive therapy and received other supplements. The results indicated that multiple factors contributed to his skin issues, highlighting the complex nature of rosacea.

While we can acknowledge the potential benefits of vitamin C, this study does not provide definitive evidence of its effectiveness specifically for rosacea. Instead, it underscores the importance of a holistic approach to managing recalcitrant skin conditions like rosacea, considering nutritional status and other underlying factors.

Improved skin clarity
Works effectively! It's a great product with high quality and efficiency. The large packaging lasted me over three months, making it very economical. I purchased it to maintain my health during autumn and winter, taking one capsule daily with no gastrointestinal side effects despite my high stomach acidity. I noticed significant benefits; my immunity improved, I stopped catching colds, and my nasal congestion vanished after weeks. Importantly, I observed a positive impact on my skin. I had red blood vessels on my nose from rosacea, but after a course of this vitamin C, my skin became clear and perfectly even. Excellent result!

Reduced redness
A fantastic vitamin for blood vessels! The formula with bioflavonoids is incredibly beneficial. I have rosacea on my face, particularly a bothersome bright red spot on the bridge of my nose that required constant masking. After several months of taking this vitamin, the spot has significantly reduced. I will keep taking it, as my whole family uses this vitamin to enhance our blood vessel health and strengthen our immune systems.
