Recommended for the winter season. In winter, my mucous membranes often dry out, leading to pain in my nose and throat upon waking. Since I started taking vitamin A, I feel much better. This product combines synthetic and natural vitamin A, with a higher proportion of synthetic, which can have more side effects. If side effects concern you, consider Bluebonnet Nutrition's 100% natural vitamin A or Mason Natural's version with a high natural content.
