My mother, who suffers from mild reflux esophagitis, takes one tablet each morning. Additionally, if I had her consume carnosine, glutamine, amino acids, protein, vitamin C, and a mixture of baking soda and citric acid (1g of natural baking soda + 1g of pure domestic citric acid + a little unheated honey, taken three times a day), the pain would diminish within about a month. The discomfort around her solar plexus has now resolved. This pertains to my mother's experience, but I hope it proves beneficial to you.
