Improved sleep quality
I’ve tried many supplements, including multivitamins and amino acids, but taurine proved the most effective. It suited my condition, helping me avoid waking up at night and alleviating various menopause symptoms, including frequent urination, thereby boosting my physical strength and immunity. While I intend to continue taking it, I’m concerned about rapidly rising prices due to the weak yen.
Menopause is a natural biological process that marks the end of a woman's reproductive years, characterized by the cessation of menstruation and a decline in hormonal levels, particularly estrogen and progesterone. Typically occurring between the ages of 45 and 55, menopause can bring a variety of physical and emotional changes. Common symptoms may include hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, and changes in sleep patterns. It is important to note that menopause is a gradual process and often begins with perimenopause, where women may experience irregular periods and increased symptoms for several years before periods stop completely.
While menopause is a natural phase of life, it can have significant impacts on a woman's health and well-being. This transition can increase the risk of certain health issues, such as osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease, due in part to lowered hormone levels. Therefore, it is advisable for women to consult with healthcare providers to discuss potential management strategies and lifestyle adjustments during this time. These may include hormone replacement therapy, dietary changes, regular physical activity, and alternative therapies, all aimed at alleviating symptoms and promoting overall health during and after menopause.
L-Taurine is a sulfonic acid and an amino acid often categorized as a conditionally essential amino acid due to its important roles in various bodily functions. L-Taurine is often included in dietary supplements and energy drinks due to its potential benefits, such as enhancing exercise performance, improving recovery, and supporting overall energy levels. While the body can produce taurine from other amino acids like cysteine, some people may choose to supplement with it, particularly athletes or those seeking additional health benefits. As always, it's important to consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new supplement regimen to ensure safety and appropriateness for your individual health needs.

Increased energy levels
I've taken this for about a year alongside NMN as I felt my physical strength declining in my 50s. Perhaps due to the synergy with NMN, I tire less easily and feel uplifted. Since entering menopause, my "good days" have sharply decreased, making this product invaluable. As it’s a NOW product, I trust its quality, although the capsules are slightly large; once accustomed, they are manageable with other supplements.

Blood pressure stabiliser
I found taurine to be an effective remedy for stabilising blood pressure during menopause. However, I wouldn’t recommend using it regularly as it tends to dry out my skin. It’s best to take it for a month and then take a month off. In the two months I’ve used it, my blood pressure has remained stable.
