I began taking this complex on my neurologist's recommendation during a terrible migraine phase where any emotion triggered a headache. This product has been nothing short of my salvation! I highly recommend it to others suffering from migraines; it has worked for me and many sceptics who later tried it. For several years, I've consumed it in courses twice yearly, and I've forgotten about Citramon. Admittedly, I may have to highlight this in bright yellow for emphasis, but the peace of mind it brings is worth it.

NOW Foods B 100 is great for B vitamin complex. I have stayed with the NOW brand, as it contains the most B vitamins in a high concentration. I take it daily to keep migraine headaches at bay and to minimise the pain.

We assessed the potential benefits of alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) as a preventive treatment for adolescent migraines in a clinical trial involving 60 participants.

We explored how genetic factors related to folate metabolism might be connected to migraines in children. In this study, 54 children aged 7 to 18 with migraines were compared to 115 healthy peers.

Interestingly, the rare 677TT genotype was found more frequently among those with migraines, indicating a potential link to higher homocysteine levels and folate deficiency. Moreover, we noted that treating these children with Cortexin led to significant improvements in their symptoms, including reduced headaches and fatigue.

Caution is advised for those with vascular issues. The vitamins are fine, but I recommend taking B group separately for better absorption. I tried them for the CNS but didn’t check the dosage of niacin. Unfortunately, with my migraine-related vascular pathology, I experienced overwhelming heat flashes, compelling me to stop the intake. If you have vascular pathology or similar conditions, be cautious with the dosage. My preferred choice was "Neuromultivit"; it’s a pity it has been discontinued, as I can’t find it anywhere.
