Quercetin reduces chronic cough effectively
We uncovered how quercetin, alongside a specialized compound called PSFL2915, affects chronic cough by interacting with a specific part of a receptor known as P2X3.

Our tests showed that quercetin could effectively reduce coughing in male mice and guinea pigs without causing taste disturbances—a drawback seen with other similar medications.

This suggests that quercetin could be a promising alternative to existing treatments for chronic cough, offering a potential new avenue for relief.
We explored whether quercetin, a compound derived from medicinal plants, affects coughing by relaxing airway smooth muscles. By conducting experiments with guinea pig tracheal rings, we found that quercetin effectively reduced contractions triggered by various stimulants. It worked by blocking specific calcium channels that are critical for muscle contraction.

However, the study mainly focused on the physiological mechanisms rather than directly measuring cough relief in humans. While quercetin shows promising properties in muscle relaxation, more research is needed to evaluate its direct impact on cough in clinical settings.

An excellent complex for allergies and viral illnesses. It successfully relieved my chronic cough. Additionally, we give it to children at the onset of colds, and it helps them recover faster.
9
Phlegm reduction
After some time taking it, I find it very effective. My cough has significantly improved, and I have less phlegm. The quercetin also contains vitamin C, known for its anti-inflammatory properties. It’s worth taking.

The combination of Vitamin C, Quercetin, and Bromelain works wonders for ARVI. I even add zinc to my regimen, taking it morning and night. It helps to overcome runny nose and throat issues, as well as various types of cough more quickly.
