I am writing this review four to five months after starting the iron supplement. Initially, I was unaware that I had developed hypothyroidism, which impacted the absorption of iron. Other cofactors such as vitamin C, B vitamins, and proper acidity in the stomach are vital for effective iron supplementation. Now, I combine iron with methyl B vitamins and Betaine-pepsin to improve absorption. As a result, my situation has significantly improved, particularly with a different iron formulation.
