Magnesium essential for immune response
Mg regulation of kinase signaling and immune function.
Study demonstrates magnesium's importance
We explored how magnesium affects our immune response, particularly in relation to fighting off influenza. By examining how magnesium levels influence T cell function, we noticed that lower levels of magnesium in the body could hinder the T cell receptor (TCR) activation process. This is significant because TCR activation is crucial for mounting an effective immune response against viruses like influenza.

Our findings revealed that insufficient magnesium decreases the activation of important immune cells, specifically CD8 T cells, which are vital for responding to infections. This was further demonstrated in mice where reduced serum magnesium concentrations led to weaker immune responses and more severe illness from influenza A virus.

Overall, we observed that magnesium not only serves as an essential cofactor in cellular processes but also plays a direct role in maintaining strong immune function. Ensuring an adequate intake of magnesium is therefore important for enhancing our ability to combat viral infections effectively.

Keto flu relief
Transitioning to the ketogenic diet, I experienced "keto flu" and realised I needed potassium and magnesium. I ordered this supplement to ensure I had all the nutrients. Initially, I took one at lunch. With the addition of potassium and broth, I quickly recovered from keto flu. The tablets are large but manageable to swallow.

Symptom relief found
I purchased this product due to heart flutters. After consulting my doctor, who indicated it was related to pre-menopause, I began taking a daily dose of potassium and magnesium citrate. Thankfully, I found relief from my symptoms. I still have occasional flutters, but they’ve become less frequent. For the price, it’s worth it!
