Strong heartburn
This drug worked well for Covid, but it did cause significant heartburn. While I managed through it, the capsules tend to get stuck in the throat, making it uncomfortable. I found that washing down the capsules with liquid helps, but I had to consume something alongside them or else the heartburn would flare up quickly. To mitigate this, I try to take 1-2 capsules at a time to avoid distress.

The capsules are excessively large and quite inconvenient to take, leading to intense heartburn and belching afterwards, even when consumed with meals. This side effect makes the experience unpleasant.

I didn’t have the chance to experience its full effects. After taking it twice, I suffered from severe heartburn each time. It probably doesn’t suit me, as my husband had no issues at all.

The treatment didn’t prove effective. She began taking it at the first sign of illness and continued while already unwell, but it worsened her condition. After four days, her temperature rose, and she developed a severe cough and hoarse voice, ultimately requiring antibiotics. Despite rinsing her throat and nose in hopes of alleviating the illness, this regimen failed. Additionally, anyone with gastrointestinal issues should be aware that taking it induces heartburn and unpleasant garlic belches, especially if consumed on an empty stomach.

Effective if timed
These capsules are effective when taken at the onset of a cold. Following the instructions helps alleviate symptoms and shorten the duration of illness. However, the large size of the capsules and taking up to 18 a day is quite excessive. Additionally, they have a garlic scent that, for someone like me, can provoke unpleasant heartburn after ingestion.
