Vitamin D's role in breast disease
We conducted an observational study to examine the levels of vitamin D in female patients with benign and malignant breast diseases. The research aimed to determine if there is a significant difference in vitamin D levels between those with non-cancerous conditions and those diagnosed with breast cancer.

During the study, we analyzed adult female patients admitted to a surgical department. Importantly, we excluded those who had taken vitamin D supplements recently or who had prior vitamin D deficiencies. By measuring serum vitamin D levels through a specific testing method, we were able to gather meaningful data about their relationship to breast health.

Our findings indicated a notable difference in average vitamin D levels when comparing the two groups. Our work focused on understanding how this vitamin D form impacts cancer resistance and the tumor microenvironment. We used the Pten mouse model to observe the therapeutic effects of the vitamin D analog.

I trust this D3 as I had low levels and a history of cancer. It is the only D3 I take daily, along with K2 by Life Extension. Superior Source works well, and my D3 levels rose from 20 to 65-68 over time. It takes a while if you're depleted, but I feel better overall with fewer aches now that my D3 levels are normal.

The 5000 IU dose maintains cholecalciferol levels around 50 ng/ml, which is ideal. With this level, research indicates significant disease reduction: cancer incidence drops by 75%, with specific reductions in breast cancer by 50% and colon cancer by 67%. Regularly maintaining this level is crucial, especially as it is difficult to obtain naturally in summer. I hope this was useful!
