Vitamin E aids menstrual migraine relief
We took a closer look at how vitamin E might help women suffering from menstrual migraines. In a double-blinded, placebo-controlled study with 72 participants, we compared the effects of vitamin E against a placebo over several months.

The results were promising, showing significant relief in headache severity and associated symptoms like photophobia and nausea when using vitamin E. Women reported less functional disability during this treatment. Overall, it appears that vitamin E could be a helpful option for managing menstrual migraines.

Dietary antioxidants reduce migraine severity
We explored the link between dietary antioxidant quality and migraines among 265 women. By assessing their dietary intake, we calculated a dietary antioxidant quality score (DAQS) and gauged migraine intensity and frequency through specific questionnaires.

Our findings revealed that higher antioxidant quality scores correlated with reduced migraine severity and fewer headache days. Notably, participants with better vitamin C intake reported less severe headaches. Although vitamin E showed a negative connection with headache frequency, the overall evidence suggests that monitoring antioxidant intake may benefit those suffering from migraines.

Vitamin E shows promise for migraine relief
We investigated the potential benefits of combined antioxidant therapy, which includes vitamin E, on migraine treatment. In a double-blind, randomized, sham-controlled pilot study in Australia, 35 adults suffering from multiple migraines per month received either the antioxidant treatment or a placebo over three months.

While there was a notable reduction in the mean number of headaches for those taking the antioxidant therapy, the difference was not statistically significant. However, we did observe that participants reported fewer monthly headache and migraine days along with decreased pain intensity. More in-depth research is needed to fully understand the effectiveness of antioxidant therapy for migraines.

It incorporates the Fujikawa method. Since I started taking vitamin E, my migraine headaches have significantly decreased. There are many types of E, so I chose this one thinking NOW would assure quality. I currently take 3 capsules a day, cutting them with scissors to consume the oil inside.

Antioxidant therapy shows promise
We investigated the effects of a unique antioxidant formula combining pine bark extract and vitamin E on migraines in patients who hadn't found relief from conventional medications. In our study, twelve participants with a long history of migraine undertook a 3-month treatment involving daily capsules of this formulation.

Participants initially assessed their migraine impacts with a questionnaire and repeated it after the treatment. Although the results suggested potential reductions in headache frequency and severity, they were preliminary. Further studies are necessary to fully understand the effectiveness of this antioxidant combination for chronic migraines.

Improved migraine management
It normalises sleep with regular intake of 2 capsules and improves my migraines. When special effects begin, I take the pills as usual, adding extra magnesium, which alleviates the migraine smoothly in a few hours. Previously, I would be out for half a day. The frequency has decreased, but I also have drug support. Regular magnesium helps manage PMS, making it easier. Chronic pain in my nasopharynx has not worsened. While I take omega-3, serrapeptase, and resveratrol, I believe magnesium plays a role. The quality is excellent, with natural ingredients and no adverse reactions.
