Dr. Meng Zhu's research interest is mainly focused on the genetic susceptibility and its biological mechanism of malignant tumors, particularly lung cancer and gastric cancer. He has conducted several large-scale molecular epidemiological studies in Chinese populations and identified several novel genetic susceptibility genes for these diseases. By 2022, Dr. Zhu has published more than 100 papers in international peer-reviewed journals including Lancet Respir Med, Lancet Oncol, Am J Respir Crit Care Med, Cancer Res, and others.
