Dr. Emiliano Antiga graduated with first class honours in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Florence in 2003, got the specialization in Dermatology and Venereology in 2007 and a PhD in Endocrinological, biomolecular and Regenerative Biotechnologies in 2012. From 2012 to 2018 he was a Researcher at the Department of Surgery and Translational Medicine, Section of Dermatology of the University of Florence. From 2018 to date he is Associate Professor of Dermatology at the Department of Healt Sciences, University of Florence. His fields of expertise include immune-mediated dermatoses, such as autoimmune bullous diseases, skin manifestations of connective tissue diseases, dermatitis herpetiformis, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and urticaria. He actively participated in the ideation and the realization of several research projects funded by both private and public institutions. He participated as a speaker at several international congresses. He is the author of more than 100 scientific articles published in extenso in international biomedical journals.
