Dr. Jai K Das is an Assistant Director at the Institute of Global Health and Development (IGHD) and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health at Aga Khan University, Karachi. He is also the Section Head of Public Health and Epidemiology. Dr. Das is currently pursuing his doctoral degree in Population and Public Health from Aga Khan University. With over 10 years of experience at the University, he has led multiple research projects encompassing community and clinical trials, population-based surveys, qualitative and mixed-method research, and evidence-based systematic reviews. His research interests focus on utilizing evidence in policy and programs, estimating disease burden, evaluating intervention effectiveness, building research capacity, and enhancing public health practices. Dr. Das has contributed significantly to various Lancet series publications and has authored numerous international peer-reviewed papers and book chapters. He is actively involved in coaching, mentoring, and teaching activities for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
