Professor Abdulbari Bener is a Professor of Public Health at Istanbul Medipol University, International School of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy. He previously held positions at Istanbul University Cerrahpasa, Weill Cornell Medical College, and Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar. He is also an advisor to the World Health Organization and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Manchester. He is a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society and Faculty of Public Health. With a Ph.D. from University College London and a B.Sc. from Ankara University, Professor Bener has authored or co-authored over 622 journal articles, contributed to numerous book chapters, and supervised theses of postgraduate students.
