Mohamed E. El-Khouly is a full professor of Nanoscience at the Institute of Basic and Applied Sciences, Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in chemistry from Tohoku University, Japan in 2002. Dr. El-Khouly has a diverse research background including molecular and supramolecular systems based on carbon nanostructures, photodynamic studies using laser photolysis, materials science, solar energy conversion, and photodynamic therapy. He has published approximately 158 articles in international journals with a total citation count of 6500 and an h-index of 45.
