Mohamed E. El-Khouly is a full professor of Nanoscience at the Institute of Basic and Applied Sciences, Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in chemistry from Tohoku University, Japan in 2002. Dr. El-Khouly has a diverse research background including molecular and supramolecular systems based on carbon nanostructures, photodynamic studies using laser photolysis, materials science, solar energy conversion, and photodynamic therapy.
