Dr. Nuno M. Neves has a background in Polymer Engineering, with a Master's degree by research and a PhD in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Minho, Portugal. He has conducted research on biomaterials since 2002, including periods abroad at the University of Twente and the University of Tokyo. His research focuses on developing biomaterials from natural origin polymers for various biomedical applications such as bone replacement, drug delivery, and tissue engineering. Dr. Neves' work also involves tissue engineering and regenerative medicine strategies using stem cells and advanced drug delivery systems.
