MSM improves mild knee pain
Methylsulfonylmethane Improves Knee Quality of Life in Participants with Mild Knee Pain: A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial.

In a well-structured randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, we explored how methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) affects those experiencing mild knee pain. The study involved 88 healthy Japanese participants, split evenly into two groups where one received 200 mg of MSM while the other received a placebo for 12 weeks.
By measuring the total score on the Japanese Knee Osteoarthritis Measure (JKOM) at the end of the trial, we found that the MSM group showed a significant improvement compared to the placebo group. Specifically, total JKOM scores changed markedly, with an improvement in knee and systemic health reported by participants who took MSM.
Our findings suggest that MSM might be beneficial for individuals with mild knee pain, marking it as a useful supplement for enhancing joint health. The positive outcomes underscore the potential of MSM as a supportive treatment option for managing mild arthritic conditions.

Mum had severe knee joint pain when walking, and after a month of taking chondroprotectors, the pain disappeared. I ordered different brands, and this one from NOW seemed most effective. For added efficiency, I also got Boswellia extract, which I highly recommend.

Worthy chondroprotector - recommended by my doctor. After taking these capsules during an arthrosis flare-up, my pain disappeared faster than usual. I've experienced more prolonged remissions since beginning this treatment. I even introduced my wife to it, and she found it effective too. I advise looking at the glucosamine and chondroitin dosage in other chondroprotectors, as this complex has an advantageous formula. MSM anal cancer treatment feasibility
Piloting of a Screen‑Triage‑Treat Surgical Approach Model for Management of Anal Cancer in Liberia.

We explored the challenges faced by men who have sex with men (MSM) regarding anal cancer treatment in Liberia. With limited access to screening and care for anal cancers, we aimed to investigate whether a screen-triage-treat approach could effectively help identify and manage anal high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (aHSIL) within this vulnerable population.
In our study, we collaborated with local organizations to gather data from MSM and transgender individuals. Participants were recruited and engaged in self-swabbing to test for high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV), alongside HIV testing. Those who tested positive for aHSIL were offered further evaluation and treatment using high-resolution anoscopy and infrared coagulation.
Among 110 participants, a significant number turned out to be living with HIV, and nearly half tested positive for high-risk HPV. This indicates a notable health concern. While 68% of those who tested positive opted for further procedures, we found that this model effectively presented a potential solution for identifying anal cancer risks and can work in a low-resource environment.
Overall, our findings suggest that implementing a screen-triage-treat model shows promise for reducing anal cancer incidence among MSM in Liberia. This approach, previously successful in cervical cancer management, might become a crucial tool in cancer prevention strategies for similar low- and middle-income countries.

VERY HELPFUL FOR PAIN. For those new to MSM, I recommend reading THE MIRACLE OF MSM by Dr. Stanley Jacob. I suffered severe joint pain, worrying I might have cancer in my legs! Perfect synergistic effect for me and possibly for my dog. A year and a half later, I can confirm it works like magic. I want to emphasise that I was not asked for this review, nor received any free product. After finishing the first bottle, I decided to try a different glucosamine brand, which made me feel dizzy. Eventually, I stopped it altogether. A few months later, my knee pain returned, and I recalled my praise for Doctor's Best glucosamine. Now, I'm back on one capsule a day, and the knee pain has vanished. Initially, I experienced dizziness with Doctor's Best but it improved quickly. There were no side effects this time. Also, our 9-year-old Yorkie, who had trouble jumping, started doing so again after we added a tiny bit of glucosamine to her food.

The effect is noticeable! I ordered it for my mother, and her hip and knee joints began to trouble her much less when used with bosvelia and collagen. However, doctors warn against glucosamine for those with diabetes. Patients with cardiovascular issues, hypertension, or obesity should monitor cholesterol levels regularly while using this treatment.
