We set out to explore the effects of selenium-containing compounds on breast cancer cells, particularly focusing on their potential as treatments. Our research involved testing several novel selenoesters on two breast cancer cell lines, MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231, to understand how these compounds can impact cell growth and survival.
What we found was quite promising. The selenoesters showed significant cytotoxic effects, meaning they can kill cancer cells effectively, even at very low doses. We observed that these compounds triggered important processes that lead to cell death, specifically by activating pathways that make cells undergo apoptosis, or programmed cell death.
The mechanisms at play include both the extrinsic and intrinsic apoptosis pathways, which means they are working from multiple angles to combat cancer. Additionally, these compounds also activate autophagy, a process that helps clear out damaged cells and contributes to the overall effectiveness of the treatment.
In summary, our findings suggest that these selenium-based compounds could be valuable candidates for future breast cancer therapies, worth considering in the ongoing fight against this disease.

I continued with this dosage and a high-protein, vitamin-rich, low-carbohydrate diet throughout pre-operative chemotherapy. Remarkably, the lump shrank significantly, and post-surgery pathology indicated that cancer cells had vanished. Although navigating the chemotherapy's side effects was challenging, I believe the supplements aided my resilience while working. We explored how curcumin, a compound found in turmeric, can influence breast cancer by targeting specific cellular pathways. The study focused on understanding the role of TEAD4, a transcription factor known to affect cancer cells’ abilities to adhere and invade other tissues.
Our findings revealed that curcumin significantly decreased the migration and invasion capabilities of breast cancer cells. This was particularly important since these qualities contribute to tumor metastasis, which is the leading cause of death in breast cancer patients. In experiments with mice, curcumin also showed the potential to inhibit lung metastasis of breast cancer.
We discovered that TEAD4 promotes the expression of fibronectin, an important protein that helps cancer cells stick to each other and spread. Curcumin was found to disrupt the interaction between TEAD4 and the fibronectin gene, limiting its ability to encourage tumor spread. Interestingly, removing fibronectin from the cancer cells reversed the aggressive behavior induced by TEAD4 overexpression.
Overall, our investigation suggests that the TEAD4-fibronectin pathway could be targeted in breast cancer therapies. Curcumin demonstrates promise in reducing the aggressive nature of breast cancer and could pave the way for new treatment strategies.

Fucoidan's effects on breast cancer
Fucoidan induces G1 phase arrest and apoptosis through caspases-dependent pathway and ROS induction in human breast cancer MCF-7 cells.
We examined the effects of Fucoidan, a component from seaweed, on human breast cancer cells known as MCF-7. Our findings showed that Fucoidan significantly reduced the number of viable cancer cells in a dose-dependent way.

Using a green synthesis approach with Moringa oleifera, this study highlights how bimolecular combinations, especially those involving folate, might improve therapeutic effectiveness.
Our findings revealed that the folate-infused nanocomposite demonstrated significant antibacterial properties, particularly against Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), achieving a remarkable 95.6% effectiveness. This high level of activity is largely attributed to the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) that inflict damage on bacterial cells. Furthermore, we noted promising anticancer effects against breast cancer cells, with the nanocomposite showing a lower inhibitory concentration than the cerium oxide alone.
It’s important to recognize that while folate is a key component, the full effect comes from its synergy with other compounds within this nanocomposite structure. Our research indicates that this innovative approach may offer new pathways for treatment in both bacterial resistance and cancer therapies, marking an exciting development in the field of nanomedicine.

It’s simply perfect! This wonderful natural oil is for entire body use. I have purchased it multiple times, both for myself and as gifts.
