Some sort of magic! I had severe earache for a week, causing a sore throat that made eating unbearable. I tried various remedies but nothing worked. Finally, I decided to try elderberry. I took the drops that night and the next morning, my sore throat was gone! I couldn’t believe it; the pain disappeared overnight.

In our recent study, we investigated the potential benefits of a natural preparation called Inflaminat, which includes black elderberry, violet herb, and calendula flowers, on cough and other symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Conducted over six months, this randomized double-blind placebo-controlled trial involved 60 patients with moderate COPD.

We observed that those taking Inflaminat experienced a significant improvement in their symptoms as measured by the Breathlessness, Cough, and Sputum Scale. Specifically, their scores decreased from an average of 3.0 to 1.9, indicating less breathlessness and fewer cough symptoms. Additionally, their lung function improved, with a marked increase in the FEV1 measurement from 66% to 73%.

Importantly, participants in the placebo group showed no similar improvements, reinforcing the effectiveness of the natural remedy. Furthermore, we found no side effects associated with the preparation. Our findings suggest that herbal remedies, particularly those containing elderberry, could be valuable in alleviating cough and improving respiratory function in patients suffering from COPD.

I absolutely love this product! After getting a cold, I started taking elderberry syrup to help recover. My partner usually has a lingering cough post-cold, but this time his cough disappeared along with the cold. I took it early in my illness, and my symptoms lasted less than a week. I’ve been taking it regularly since as I'm around many who are sick, hoping to stay healthy.

We explored whether elderberry could help reduce the duration and severity of colds for economy class passengers traveling internationally. In a well-structured randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial involving 312 participants, we looked at how a standardized elderberry extract affected respiratory health during air travel.

Participants tracked their cold episodes, duration, and symptoms in daily diaries, using a scoring method to quantify their experiences. They also completed surveys about their upper respiratory symptoms and quality of life at different points: before traveling and four days post-travel.

While we noted that the group taking the placebo experienced more cold episodes, the difference wasn't statistically significant. However, those taking elderberry had a significantly shorter duration of cold days and a lower average symptom score overall, suggesting that elderberry may significantly lessen the impact of colds during air travel.

Further research is essential to validate our findings and to better understand the broader health benefits of elderberry, both physical and mental.

Quite like witchcraft! I had always heard of elderberry's wonders during the cold/flu season. Sceptical, I tried it after suffering a terrible earache for a week. Everything else failed, including antibiotics and cold medicine. I ordered elderberry, and the very next morning, my earache was gone. I was dumbfounded! I will definitely continue taking it to enhance my immunity. Thank you!

This truly works for both adults and children! I recommend it. My 2.5-year-old toddler was continually congested and suffered recurrent ear infections, requiring antibiotics every other month. I realised I had to boost his immunity, so I started giving him this product along with Mary Ruth multivitamins. Since then, he has not been congested at all. I have yet to try this during winter, but I am confident I won't be disappointed. Here's to good health!

We delved into how elderberry, specifically from the black elderberry fruit, impacts the flu virus, H1N1. Using an innovative technique called Direct Analysis in Real Time Mass Spectrometry (DART TOF-MS), we were able to identify the powerful anti-viral properties of elderberry extract without the need for complicated processes like separation or derivatization.

Our findings revealed that elderberry extract does indeed inhibit H1N1 infection in a lab setting, with an effective concentration (IC50) of 252 micrograms per milliliter. Interestingly, we discovered that flavonoids present in the elderberry bind to H1N1 virions—essentially blocking their ability to infect host cells.

Among the compounds, two key flavonoids emerged: the 5,7,3',4'-tetra-O-methylquercetin and dihydromyricetin. These compounds not only bound to the virus but also effectively prevented infection. Notably, the tetra-O-methylquercetin demonstrated an impressive IC50 of just 0.13 micrograms per milliliter, which is comparable to well-known antiviral medications like Oseltamivir and Amantadine.

In summary, elderberry shows promising potential as a natural remedy against the H1N1 flu, offering a fascinating area for further research and utilization in flu prevention strategies.

It helps my son. I've been giving this to my teenage son who has ADHD, anxiety, and insomnia. Since we started this, I’ve noticed he is less anxious and sleeping better. I usually give it to him in the afternoon and at night. His paediatrician confirmed that if it helps, we should continue. I ordered more without hesitation.

Must have for flu season. I can't recommend this product or the company highly enough! I discovered elderberry on Amazon, and I now believe in its benefits. After a few days of using the drops, my husband felt unwell. I suggested the drops, and he took them; within hours, he felt better. He continued taking them for three days and was fully recovered. My son, who has asthma and allergies, has been using these drops to help boost his immune system to avoid steroid treatments. We're very pleased and even ordered more bottles for this COVID-19 season. I highly recommend these non-GMO, sugar-free, delicious organic elderberry drops.
