Niacin helps alleviate anxiety symptoms
We examined the impact of Niacin on anxiety and memory loss caused by aging in a rat study. Rats were grouped and treated with various doses of Niacin and D-galactose for 14 days, followed by behavioral tests to assess anxiety and memory.

Our results showed that Niacin significantly reduced anxiety-like symptoms and improved memory deficits. Additionally, it mitigated factors like oxidative stress and inflammation, enhancing brain health. Overall, Niacin's antioxidant and neuro-modulatory properties suggest it may be beneficial in addressing aging-related psychiatric issues.

We explored how vitamin B could help fight anxiety and depression linked to nicotine withdrawal in young male rats.

The study involved giving some rats nicotine before dividing them into different groups, where some were treated with vitamin B and others with bupropion—a common anxiety medication.

The results were promising, with vitamin B showing potential in reducing anxiety symptoms, comparable to bupropion. This opens the door for vitamin B as a possible new treatment option for various anxiety-related issues.

Vitamin B may alleviate anxiety symptoms
We investigated how Vitamin B can affect anxiety and depression in a rat model facing chronic stress. Seventy-two rats were divided into three groups: a control group, a stressed group, and a stressed group receiving Vitamin B injections.

The study measured behavioral changes and key neurotransmitter levels. Results showed that Vitamin B helped restore neurotransmitter levels and improved the rats' behavior. This suggests that Vitamin B could potentially play a role in alleviating anxiety and depressive symptoms by supporting brain health.

I’ve never written a review before. I feel that while this may not apply to everyone considering this supplement, those with anxiety or panic disorder should reconsider. A lot of research suggests folate supplementation can help with anxiety, which is why I began taking it, but it significantly exacerbated my anxiety. It led to some of my worst panic attacks on the very day I took it, making me ill to the point of considering hospitalisation. Please exercise caution; I will never take folate again due to this dreadful experience.

Vitamin B aids anxiety recovery
We explored the effects of vitamin B supplementation on anxiety and cognitive function in male Swiss albino mice following traumatic brain injury (TBI). Our research found that vitamin B appears to improve neurological impairments, enhance memory, and reduce anxiety-like behaviors.

Additionally, we saw a reduction in oxidative stress markers, indicating better neuronal health. This suggests that vitamin B not only helps with anxiety but also plays a role in recovery from cognitive dysfunctions associated with TBI.

No significant anxiety improvement
We explored the effectiveness of vitamin B complex in treating anxiety among patients with Post-COVID-19 syndrome (PC19S) through the PreVitaCOV trial. This study involved 240 participants who were given either prednisolone, vitamin B1, B6, and B12, a combination of these treatments, or a placebo. While the trial showed high feasibility and safety, it ultimately did not demonstrate significant benefits in symptom change over placebo in anxiety or other evaluated symptoms.
