Sake yeast shows potential for anxiety
We explored the potential benefits of Japanese sake yeast on anxiety and depression in mice subjected to stress. Over a week, we treated the mice with different doses of sake yeast and assessed its effects on anxiety, mood, and sleep.

Our findings indicated that the yeast improved anxiety and antidepressant-like behaviors, particularly at higher doses. It also increased sleep duration and influenced certain brain levels related to mood. However, the overall results suggest that while sake yeast shows promise, it may not significantly alter all biological markers associated with stress.

I've used this brand since 2019! As a licensed psychotherapist, I've utilised it for over a year. Initially, it helped me breathe better due to asthma, but I've also found it greatly reduces anxiety. I've recommended it to my two sons and my mum. I've been using it for nearly four years now, primarily from Swanson’s website after Amazon stopped carrying it. I take NAC for mucous issues, and it is much more effective and gentle on my stomach compared to mucinex. An added bonus is its ability to decrease anxiety and enhance my immune function; I take it every day.
