Are you tired of feeling bloated after a protein shake? You’re in luck! I’m mildly lactose intolerant. Regular whey (like ON Gold Standard Whey) makes me extremely bloated throughout the day, resulting in discomfort that lingers. I also bloat after consuming certain foods high in dairy. However, with this whey protein, I experience no issues at all! I no longer have to choose between being bloated all day or suffering with poor-tasting plant protein. Although this option costs more than regular whey, it’s cheaper than more gourmet plant proteins that taste terrible. It's worth the extra expense since it’s filtered to remove lactose. I hope they offer a larger version of the plain iso100 for less, as the hydrolysed 5lb tub is more economical than a 3lb regular tub. I realise hydrolysed protein is mainly for elite athletes needing precision.

No more upset stomach. Although a bit pricey, I believe it’s worth it. It lacks excess additives and is relatively clean. My favourite aspect is it doesn't make me gassy or bloated throughout the day, especially compared to concentrates. I can’t consume protein concentrates anymore. For those like me who are lactose intolerant, it reduces an upset stomach to about 1/10, making it worth its price.

Great flavour and nutrition. Initially sceptical about the birthday cake flavour, I tried it and have no regrets. Several protein shakes I’ve tried cause bloating or gas, but this brand has none of that. At only 110 calories a serving with 25g protein and brilliant flavour, I will definitely order again. I usually mix it with almond milk and ice for a shake-like drink.

My "Go-To". I love this product! I've tried many whey protein powders and experienced stomach aches and bloating. I suspect I'm somewhat intolerant but I managed to find the hydrolyzed version of this supplement. I’m relieved that I no longer experience discomfort, and I'm quite fond of the chocolate flavour. I haven’t noticed any decline in performance compared to regular whey, so this is a win for me!

Does not taste like cocoa pebbles. Great protein powder, with no bloating or gassiness. The cocoa pebbles flavour is not quite the same; lesson learned from buying a 5lb container without testing. I will try gourmet chocolate next as I’ve heard good things about it.
Bloating is a common gastrointestinal condition characterized by a sensation of fullness, tightness, or swelling in the abdomen. It often occurs after eating and can be accompanied by visible distension of the belly. This discomfort may be caused by various factors, including excessive gas production, food intolerances, overeating, or certain medical conditions affecting the digestive system. Many people experience bloating occasionally, but when it becomes chronic, it can significantly impact one's quality of life.
Managing bloating typically involves dietary adjustments, such as identifying and avoiding trigger foods, eating smaller meals, and incorporating more fiber into your diet. Staying hydrated and engaging in regular physical activity can also help alleviate symptoms. If bloating is persistent or accompanied by other troubling symptoms like severe pain or changes in bowel habits, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional for proper evaluation and guidance.
Whey Protein Isolate (WPI) is a high-quality protein derived from milk during the cheese-making process. It is a more refined form of whey protein, boasting a higher protein content and fewer carbohydrates and fats. Typically containing about 90% protein or more, WPI is widely popular among athletes, bodybuilders, and anyone looking to increase their protein intake efficiently. The process of isolation involves filtering out most of the lactose, fat, and other non-protein components, resulting in a product that is not only rich in amino acids but also easier to digest for those who are lactose intolerant.
In comparison to other forms of whey protein, such as whey protein concentrate, WPI offers a purer product that can provide a quick source of protein post-workout, aiding in muscle recovery and growth. It's often available in various flavors and can be easily added to smoothies, shakes, and baked goods. When selecting a whey protein isolate, consider factors such as the sourcing of the protein, presence of additives, and taste, to find the best fit for your dietary needs and preferences. Overall, Whey Protein Isolate is a versatile supplement that plays a valuable role in many fitness and nutritional regimens.
Whey protein isolate can be a beneficial option for those looking to incorporate protein into their diet without experiencing bloating. Unlike regular whey protein concentrate, whey protein isolate undergoes further processing to remove a significant portion of fat and lactose, which can be culprits for digestive discomfort. This makes whey protein isolate a more suitable choice for individuals who are lactose intolerant or sensitive to dairy products. Many users report that they experience less bloating and digestive distress when using whey protein isolate compared to other forms of protein.
However, it's important to note that everyone's digestive system is different, and while whey protein isolate may alleviate bloating for some, it might not work for others. If you're considering adding whey protein isolate to your regimen, starting with a small serving can help assess your body's response. Additionally, pairing it with water instead of milk or other liquids may also minimize any potential digestive issues. Always remember to choose a high-quality, reputable brand to ensure optimal digestion and absorption of nutrients.
The time it takes to see results from taking whey protein isolate can vary based on several factors, including individual metabolism, diet, and exercise habits. Many users report experiencing some relief from bloating within a few days to a week of consistent use, especially if the bloating is related to dietary adjustments or protein intake. However, it's crucial to ensure that you are not lactose intolerant or sensitive to other ingredients commonly found in protein powders, as this could negate the benefits and potentially exacerbate bloating.
Based on user reviews, many individuals have reported positive improvements in their symptoms after using the product. Users particularly noted a reduction in bloating, a common concern with protein supplements. For instance, one user highlighted their enjoyment of the flavor while mentioning that it doesn't induce any bloating, making it an ideal choice for post-workout recovery Read Review. Similarly, another reviewer emphasized that the whey isolate used in the supplement also mitigated any bloating issues, which they found quite appealing Read Review.
Overall, while individual results can vary, the anecdotal evidence suggests that users appreciate the product's ability to avoid common gastrointestinal discomforts typically associated with protein shakes. This can make it easier to incorporate into a routine, especially for those sensitive to such issues.

The quality and ingredients are excellent, with a very good flavour. Although the size is small, the whey isolate does not cause any bloating.
