Bifidobacterium lactis alleviates bloating
We conducted a study to see if a fermented dairy product with Bifidobacterium lactis DN-173 010 could help reduce bloating in patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and constipation. In a controlled trial with 34 participants over four weeks, we found that this probiotic significantly decreased abdominal girth and improved gastrointestinal transit times.

Patients reported feeling less bloated, and symptom severity also decreased. These findings suggest that fostering faster transit times may be an effective method to combat abdominal distension.

Lactobacillus improves bloating symptoms
We conducted a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial to assess how Lactobacillus acidophilus NCFM and Bifidobacterium lactis Bi-07 affect bloating in patients with functional bowel disorders.

Over eight weeks, patients reported a noticeable improvement in abdominal bloating when taking probiotics compared to those on a placebo.

Notably, results showed significant relief at four weeks and continued improvement by eight weeks, especially among those with irritable bowel syndrome. This suggests probiotics could be beneficial in managing bloating symptoms.

Lactobacillus acidophilus reduces bloating
We examined how Lactobacillus acidophilus can help treat bloating in patients with dyspepsia due to imbalances in gut bacteria. In a study involving 30 participants, symptoms such as pain, pressure, and bloating were self-reported while objective measures like bowel movements and weight changes were also tracked.

Those affected by antibiotic-induced dysbiosis experienced rapid relief within days. Improvements were noted in symptoms of maldigestion over a week, and remarkable results were observed in patients with radiation enterocolitis. Overall, this probiotic showed promise for alleviating digestive discomfort without notable side effects.

Gut recovery achieved

My 8-year-old son had numerous tummy troubles, leading us to test for coeliac disease. His stomach was bloating, and despite dietary changes, he continued to have issues. I found this organic probiotic, and after just a few days, he had normal stools, with his bloating improving within a week. He enjoys the taste and has been taking them daily for about three months. On days with higher carbohydrate intake, we ensure he takes two capsules, and no more bloating occurs. This probiotic has truly aided my son's gut recovery.

A 4.5-year-old child had a rotavirus and experienced terrible bowel movements every 4-5 days, along with bloating. After reading reviews, I decided to purchase this medication, consulting a doctor who approved my choice due to its excellent composition. We started taking it, and the very next day, there was a significant change – normal bowel movements either daily or every other day. It truly feels like a success! The bloating has ceased, and my child's complaints of stomach aches have vanished. I highly recommend this product!

No more constipation

Works great! I give this to my two children, aged 7 and 5. My younger child loves this probiotic; however, my 7-year-old isn't as keen but still takes it. They are chewable and taste of watermelon, which both enjoy! I have noticed a significant difference in both my girls. No more constipation or bloating. After taking them for four months, I stopped giving it to my older child for a month; she's now constipated and bloated. She wants to resume taking it, realising how beneficial it is.

SCM-III improves IBS symptoms
We conducted a study examining the effects of a novel symbiotic treatment, SCM-III, on patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Sixty-eight adults were divided into two groups—one received SCM-III and the other a heat-inactivated version, both for 12 weeks.

Our findings showed that most patients reported significant improvements in bloating and abdominal pain compared to a control group. Over 80% felt the treatment was effective, while less than 5% labelled it ineffective.

Overall, this suggests that certain IBS patients could greatly benefit from symbiotic treatments like SCM-III, though it may require a cyclic use for best results.

Probiotics improve allergy symptoms
We evaluated the effects of a combined probiotic treatment on food allergies in children aged 4 to 5. In our study, 92 children participated, where one group took probiotics containing Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG for 21 days, while the other group did not.

The children on probiotics experienced significant improvements in skin and gastrointestinal symptoms, including a decrease in bloating. Their IgE levels also dropped notably, suggesting an overall healthier immune response. The control group showed no significant changes.

Overall, lactobacillus rhamnosus proved beneficial for reducing allergy symptoms and improving gut health.

We investigated how a combination of Bifidobacterium longum BB536 and Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001, along with vitamin B6, affects bloating in patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). In a well-structured crossover trial involving 25 IBS patients, we found that this formula significantly reduced bloating by about 36% compared to a placebo. Additionally, patients experienced reduced abdominal pain and improved gut health. Overall, this treatment shows promise for alleviating IBS symptoms and enhancing gut health.

No more bloating
My kid loves the taste and has been taking them every day for about three months. We've found that when he eats more carbs (like pizza at birthday parties), taking two capsules a day means no more bloating! I can't praise this probiotic enough; it has genuinely helped our son's gut recover and become healthy, and it's not a struggle to get him to take it. I discovered this organic product after researching probiotics.

Probiotics alleviate bloating in IBS
We examined how multispecies probiotics, including Lactobacillus acidophilus, affect bloating in individuals with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). In a randomized, double-blind trial, 49 IBS patients were split into two groups: one received probiotics and the other a placebo for four weeks.

By the end of the study, we found that 68% of the probiotics group reported significant relief from IBS symptoms, including reduced bloating. Fecal analysis indicated beneficial changes in gut bacteria from the probiotics, highlighting their potential role in improving IBS symptoms.
7
Probiotics show mixed efficacy
We explored the effectiveness of various probiotic strains and combinations in treating bloating related to irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). This comprehensive analysis included data from 9,253 participants across 81 studies.

While some probiotics showed promise in alleviating abdominal bloating, the results indicated that only specific strains were effective. Among them, noteworthy probiotics included MTCC 5856 and CNCM I-3856.

Overall, the findings highlight that while probiotics can help some IBS symptoms, not all are effective for bloating, calling for more research to better understand these treatments.
7
Kefir probiotics reduce bloating
We explored the effects of probiotic strains from kefir on gastrointestinal health. Fifty-six healthy adults participated in a randomized, single-blind, placebo-controlled study. Over three weeks, those consuming AB-kefir experienced significantly reduced bloating and abdominal pain compared to the control group.

Notably, male participants showed marked improvements, along with shifts in their gut microbiota. This suggests that AB-kefir could be a natural approach to enhance gut health in adults.
4
Probiotic blend shows mixed results
In a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, we examined the effect of a probiotic blend on bloating in adults experiencing functional constipation. Over two weeks, 156 participants were divided to receive either the probiotic or a placebo.

While we found no significant improvements in bloating or other digestive symptoms overall, a noteworthy reduction in flatulence was observed in the probiotic group at specific intervals. This suggests the probiotics may help with some digestive discomfort, though they did not significantly alleviate bloating itself.
