We explored the potential benefits of L-Threonic Acid Magnesium Salt (LTAMS) in treating adults with ADHD in a pilot study involving 15 participants. Over a span of 12 weeks, we observed that nearly half of the subjects showed significant improvements in ADHD symptoms, as measured by various scales.

While LTAMS appeared effective and well tolerated, these encouraging results indicate that larger studies are necessary to verify its benefits more robustly. Overall, the findings suggest that magnesium supplementation could be a promising area for further ADHD research.

Magnesium treatment shows promise for ADHD
We observed that children with ADHD often have low magnesium levels. In our study, 40 children were treated with a magnesium and vitamin B6 regimen over eight weeks.

We noted significant improvements in symptoms like hyperactivity and lack of attention. These changes were linked to increased magnesium levels in the blood.

However, symptoms returned when treatment stopped, highlighting magnesium's potential role in managing ADHD. Overall, this study suggests magnesium and vitamin B6 could be beneficial for children struggling with ADHD symptoms.

Magnesium supplementation reduces ADHD symptoms
We explored the link between magnesium deficiency and hyperactivity in children diagnosed with ADHD. Our study involved 116 children with ADHD, finding that magnesium deficiency was more common in this group compared to healthy peers.

We divided the participants into two groups based on coexisting disorders and monitored their hyperactivity levels alongside a magnesium supplementation program.

The results were telling: those receiving magnesium showed a marked decrease in hyperactivity, while the control group exhibited increased hyperactivity. This supports the idea that magnesium supplementation might play a key role in managing ADHD symptoms effectively.

I love Magnesium L-Threonate! It significantly improves brain function, especially for someone with ADHD. I find I remember my dreams more vividly, which makes me feel mentally sharp. Even with little sleep, MagMind keeps me from feeling groggy. I usually take 2 before bed and 1 in the morning, but sometimes adjust the dosage to make it last.

The human body uses magnesium for blood pressure regulation, muscle contraction, nerve signal transmission, and energy production. A deficiency can result in numerous health issues, such as migraines, diabetes, mood disorders, and heart diseases. While magnesium is available in various foods, many suffer from deficiency and opt for supplements like Magnesium L-threonate. This supplement is well absorbed and supports vital biochemical functions, including activating B vitamins and improving immune response. It effectively crosses the blood-brain barrier, combats brain ageing, and benefits mental health, particularly in seniors. I've noticed improvements in my concentration and sleep after a few weeks, which has positively impacted my mood. I prefer the Jarrow formulas brand.

Magnesium improves ADHD symptoms
We investigated whether magnesium and vitamin D supplements could enhance mental health in children with ADHD. In a randomized controlled trial involving 66 kids, half received the supplements while the others got placebos over eight weeks.

By the end, we found that those on the supplements showed marked improvements in various emotional and behavioral issues, such as emotional problems and total difficulties.

This suggests that these supplements may offer significant benefits, but we recognize the need for larger, more robust studies to confirm these promising results.

Magnesium supplementation reduces hyperactivity
We aimed to understand how magnesium supplementation might influence hyperactivity in children diagnosed with ADHD.

In our study involving 50 children between 7 and 12 years, we monitored those with magnesium deficiencies, providing them with about 200 mg of magnesium daily for six months.

Results showed that those receiving magnesium experienced significant reductions in hyperactivity compared to a control group, highlighting potential benefits of addressing magnesium deficiency in treating ADHD.

MAGNE-B6 shows potential benefits
We evaluated the effects of MAGNE-B6 on a group of 31 children aged 6 to 12 who have attention deficit and hyperactivity syndrome. They received MAGNE-B6, while a control group of 20 children received a polyvitamin complex.

After 30 days, we noticed significant improvements in behavior, lower anxiety and aggression, and better attention and mobility among the MAGNE-B6 group.

These changes highlight the potential benefits of magnesium for children with ADHD, suggesting a promising direction for future treatments.

Calming effect observed
I purchased this for myself but decided to let my ADHD child try it. I provide several vitamins before bed, yet he had daily tantrums. After starting the supplement, he managed homework more calmly and noticed fewer tantrums. Although I’m still a bit sceptical, I see potential benefits. It helps him focus and calms the typical ADHD clutter in his head.

In middle age, I realised my speech had become filled with hesitations. After discovering research on Magnesium Threonate reversing cognitive decline, I took it for several months. My boyfriend noticed my speech became more fluid, even reducing interruptions from his ADHD. After a break from the supplement, those pauses returned, prompting me to resume.

We investigated the relationship between magnesium levels and ADHD through a detailed meta-analysis of seven studies.

Our findings revealed that individuals with ADHD had lower serum magnesium levels compared to those without the disorder. This difference was statistically significant, indicating a potential inverse relationship between magnesium deficiency and ADHD symptoms.

However, the studies we analyzed showed a high level of variability, highlighting the need for more research to clarify this connection. We believe further observational studies could provide deeper insights into how magnesium impacts ADHD.
