Sake yeast shows potential for anxiety
We explored the potential benefits of Japanese sake yeast on anxiety and depression in mice subjected to stress. Over a week, we treated the mice with different doses of sake yeast and assessed its effects on anxiety, mood, and sleep.

Our findings indicated that the yeast improved anxiety and antidepressant-like behaviors, particularly at higher doses.
