Restored condition
This definitely works; after taking antibiotics for ten days, my condition is restored and the microflora stabilises, resulting in complete disappearance of candidiasis. It's an excellent drug.
Candidiasis, commonly known as a yeast infection, is an infection caused by the overgrowth of Candida, a type of fungus that naturally occurs in various locations in the body, including the mouth, gut, and vagina. Under normal circumstances, Candida exists in balance with other microorganisms, but factors such as antibiotic use, high sugar diets, and compromised immune systems can disrupt this balance, leading to an overgrowth. This can manifest in various forms, including oral thrush (affecting the mouth), vaginal yeast infections, and invasive candidiasis (which can affect the bloodstream and internal organs).
Symptoms of candidiasis vary depending on the area affected; for example, a vaginal yeast infection can cause itching, burning, and unusual discharge, while oral thrush may lead to white patches in the mouth, soreness, and difficulty swallowing. Treatment typically involves antifungal medications, which can be prescribed or obtained over-the-counter, depending on the severity and type of the infection. To prevent recurrence, it's essential to maintain a healthy diet, manage stress, and practice good hygiene. If you suspect you have candidiasis, particularly in more severe cases, consulting a healthcare provider is recommended for appropriate diagnosis and treatment options.
Lactobacillus is a genus of bacteria that plays a crucial role in the fermentation of various foods and is found naturally in the human gut. Known for their probiotic properties, strains of Lactobacillus are commonly utilized in the production of yogurt, sauerkraut, and other fermented products. They are characterized by their rod-shaped structure and ability to convert sugars into lactic acid, which not only helps preserve food but also contributes to the tangy flavor of fermented foods.
In addition to their culinary uses, Lactobacillus bacteria can offer several health benefits. They are known to support gut health by enhancing the balance of beneficial bacteria in the microbiome, potentially aiding in digestion and alleviating symptoms of issues like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Regular consumption of Lactobacillus-containing foods or supplements may also bolster the immune system and improve overall digestive health. With a growing interest in gut health, Lactobacillus remains a key player in both dietary and therapeutic contexts.
Research suggests that Lactobacillus, a genus of probiotic bacteria, may play a beneficial role in managing Candidiasis, a fungal infection caused by an overgrowth of Candida species, particularly Candida albicans. Probiotics like Lactobacillus can help maintain a healthy balance of vaginal flora, potentially inhibiting the growth of harmful organisms, including yeast. Studies have indicated that supplementation with Lactobacillus can help restore the natural microbiome, which may reduce the frequency and severity of candidiasis symptoms.
While incorporating Lactobacillus through dietary sources like yogurt, fermented foods, or probiotic supplements can support overall gut and vaginal health, it is essential to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice. Probiotics may not replace traditional antifungal treatments, but they may complement them and promote a more resilient microbiome. If you’re experiencing recurrent candidiasis, discussing the potential benefits of Lactobacillus with your healthcare provider can help you determine the best course of action.
Based on user reviews, the time it typically takes to see results from this supplement for Candidiasis varies among individuals. Thus, while some users report quick results, establishing a regular routine may enhance the overall benefits for persistent or recurring candidiasis.
The scientific evidence surrounding various supplements for managing candidiasis, particularly through the use of probiotics, is promising but nuanced. Several studies have indicated that specific strains of Lactobacillus can inhibit the growth of Candida, potentially supporting vaginal health and reducing incidences of infections. For instance, research showed that Lactobacillus strains significantly reduced the growth of pathogens and improved clinical outcomes when combined with traditional antifungal treatments for vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC) [5][6]. Another study highlighted the efficacy of using certain probiotic strains, such as L. fermentum KBL674, in managing vaginal candidiasis symptoms, noting its positive influence on the vaginal and gut microbiome [7].
However, while there is support for probiotics in improving outcomes related to candidiasis, results can vary. One study found that probiotics did not significantly lessen the recurrence of vulvovaginal infections when compared to control groups [2], indicating that while they may aid in supporting health, they are not a guaranteed treatment. Thus, while the scientific community is increasingly recognizing the potential benefits of probiotics in managing candidiasis, further research is needed to better understand their effectiveness and the mechanisms behind their action.

Some have found that taking it alongside probiotics, particularly with strains of lactobacilli, enhances its effectiveness. One user highlighted their positive experience, noting, "Whenever I notice an odd odour or feel unwell, I take this and sleep, and it improves immediately! It’s truly remarkable, especially when taken with vitamin C and inulin" Read Review. This suggests that, in some cases, complementary supplements can boost overall results.
On the other hand, a different user shared that the supplement alone did not yield lasting effects, as symptoms returned after discontinuation. "After taking antibiotics, I experienced mild candidiasis... however, after I stopped taking it, the symptoms returned when I resumed" Read Review. This indicates that while some users have successfully combined this supplement with others for better outcomes, others may still struggle to find a sustainable solution, highlighting the variability of individual responses to different combinations of products.
Based on user reviews, there seems to be a consensus on the effectiveness of Lactobacillus in treating candidiasis, with many users reporting significant improvements after a sustained period of use. Users have noted that taking this probiotic consistently for a month can yield positive results in managing symptoms associated with candidiasis (e.g., Read Review). For instance, one review highlighted that taking four capsules led to a quick resolution of symptoms, although it was also noted that symptoms might reoccur upon discontinuation (see Read Review).
Additionally, several users emphasize the importance of regular intake to maintain improvements, indicating that those who integrated Lactobacillus into their routine over several weeks experienced fewer relapses and overall better health (e.g., Read Review and Read Review). Overall, while effective dosages may vary, a month-long commitment appears to be beneficial for many individuals suffering from candidiasis.

Oral probiotics ineffective for VVIs
Oral Probiotics to Prevent Recurrent Vulvovaginal Infections During Pregnancy-Multicenter Double-Blind, Randomized, Placebo-Controlled Trial.
We aimed to understand whether oral probiotics could help pregnant women prevent recurrent vulvovaginal infections (VVIs). In a well-structured multicenter trial, women who previously treated infections were divided into two groups: one received a probiotic formula while the other got a placebo.
After monitoring for nearly four months, we found no significant difference in VVI recurrence rates between the two groups. This indicates that the tested oral probiotics did not effectively reduce the occurrence of VVIs in pregnant women.
